It was the moment when he had the light that it worked.

So you let that go with little debate.
Perhaps it was inserted too late.
Could you please go back in time
just a minute and revisit the rhyme?

The store remains locked.
But the shelves are carefully stocked
with reasons there for all to see.
You are oh so very close to me.

p.s. trust that I try to reflect back to you what you have given to me.

Thanks BC
When i first came to this blog, there where very few comments and i never joined in.
It felt a little strange to talk to people and open up.
But look at me now!
I'm typing to people i call friends and every day i look forward to signing on, and just hanging out, I'm leaning to open up, where i was so closed to the world.
Thanks to all of you.
We really have come together for a reason.

Anonymous said...

Aww your welcome PJ. It sounds great that you are opening up here as well. That's pretty amazing ^_^
So what was the deal with that anon who posted here earlier?

Entropy said...

They have always said something before anyone started to show their concerns.
From LOTMS to earlier in the year when he brought out apple cider,he had to state that is what it was.

Anonymous said...

HI entropy, MIB, BC, and everyone else hanging out!
How are we today?

Anonymous said...

Some are dying to live. Wanting just one more day. One more hour. One more sunrise.

Others living to die. Throwing it all away. Wasting that hour. Cursing the sunrise.

And so goes the balance of things.

Hardly seems fair, does it?

Anonymous said...

BC, It was someone saying there was an argument with the band at the award show, you know how some anons are trying to show off and start something, nothing worth going back and reading.

Unless it was the anon, that told us stuff that really did happen.

Guess we will not know until the pictures of last nights show are posted, to see if they where happy or not.

Hello Star!

i looked at the pictures and watched videos from the EMA's and they might have looked a little down or perhaps they didnt want to be there, but they are kind of in a shitty position right now.

Anonymous said...

Hey entropy! How goes it today?

Entropy said...

Today is going alright,thanks.
How are you?

Anonymous said...

I'm good, entropy. I slept until 1:00 pm. I guess I was more tired than I thought!

Anonymous said...

Hello star. How are you?
PJ, thank you for letting me know.
Can you guys believe that there is actually some fans creating a petition to stop the lawsuit? I'm serious!

Anonymous said...

Hey there entropy how are you?

Entropy said...

I'm great BC and you?
Although I'm astonished that fans are actually doing something like that. This is business, they need to stay out of it.
Plus,I'm on Maine's side.

No BC, it is worth going back to read:

Here's what I said in regards to the Anons duking it out-

And so, the Anons are back at it again. "Yes they did!" "No, they didn't!" I, for one, do not wish to read your arguments. It'd be great, since you all seem to know so much, if you could get your stories straight.

And here's what an Anon said in response. Take careful note.

I understand your frustration. It is prudent to be cautious of anon's that claim to have the latest inside scoop on the band, divulging personal information as this would not happen.

I trust most of you are able to discern a genuine message from someone trying to provoke controversy or cause dissension among you.

If a band member visited this blog, very rarely would he feel the need to interrupt the flow of conversation. If he leaves a comment, his intention would be to enhance the discussion by providing a different perspective to contemplate and consider.

The greatest obstacle to truth is not ignorance - it is the illusion of knowledge.

Sound like something you've read before from a guest that frequents here by way of an anonymous disguise?

Anon, to someone dying say of cancer, life it self is not fare.
Day in and day out, seeing people going about there business, not thinking they are going to die, while the person with cancer is watching an invisible clock wondering if the next second is there last is not fair.
Fate deals a raw deal to someone dying, its unfair to see others planing there life, while they contemplate there death, its unfair to see others laugh, its unfair that they can move about, work, have children, dream of what they want to be.
Unfair! you bet it is, but i would spend my time, not watching others, or the clock, but doing what i can to be remembered, if one person remembers who you where and loves to tell others of your life and how you lived, life will give you immortality in return.

good morning everyone.

took me awhile to catch up -- i took a break yesterday so i had a lot of reading to do.

about the original punks' question from last night, maybe i'm too late to answer it, but i found out about mcr in pretty much the same way they did: "helena" on mtv, right at a time when i was waking back up to myself.

but if anyone wants to read about what impact the band has had on me, i've written about it in a few entries over at my livejournal. (link on my blog page.) there are two entries specifically about the black parade, which made the biggest impact on me of their three cds, and a couple of entries about my "mcr spree" which are about what i brought away from my mcr concert experiences.

i'm sorry! that's a hassle, to suggest clicking over, but you can see with so many entries, it's a bit much to cut and paste here.

Anonymous said...

I'm good, BC! How are you?

Anonymous said...

the petition to stop the lawsuit against mcr is crazy. mcr were clearly in the wrong. you can't cancel a show due to injury and then play a show that night. these buzznet kids are crazy, mcr can never do anything wrong in their eyes.

Anonymous said...

BC i did not know there was a law suit, who is suing who?

And Mustard, i was just referring to the argument.

Anonymous said...

MIB, I agree with your assessment.

Anonymous said...

In regards to the lawsuit:

I am siding with the University of Maine on this one. There was a legal contract between the two and, unfortunately, for whatever reason, they had to cancel the show. If it was due to Bob's wrist, it was due to Bob's wrist. If they needed the rest before the European tour, they needed the rest before the tour. I apologize for the detailed hypothetical situation, but if someone had a case of the uncontrollable craps, they had a case of the uncontrollable craps. It doesn't matter what happened, they were in breach of their contract with University of Maine. The university should be reimbursed for their expenses and the students should receive the money they spent on the tickets. It's only fair, and I'm sure the MCR camp will take care of it.

Anonymous said...

I understand PJ, but unbeknownst to us, the argument was obviously valid.

Again, my apologies. You know who you are :)

Anonymous said...

I'm doing pretty good Star. Thank you for asking. Mustard I agree. The band *were* in breach of contract and if you do not fulfill your obligations that the contract requires you to fulfill, you risk involving yourself or another party in a potential lawsuit. Did I mention that I also took Business Law? ^_^

Hi everyone!
How are you all?

Enjoyed reading your MCR stories; don't want to feel left out, so here you go. Not very dramatic, though, sorry.

I was at the gym listening to something (can't remember what) when the video on the screens caught my eye, something struck me and I unplugged my headphones and put them into the socket on the treadmill so I could hear it. It blew me away; it was Helena.

So, I bought Revenge, then Bullets and read about them (I always do when I like a band, I like to know who the people are behind the music). I was touched by the music, lyrics the message and the guys; but not really any more than any other band.

Then came TBP. This touched me more, I think, than any other album has.

There was stuff from the past that I had buried and yeah, had been doing some crazy things to avoid facing. Eventually you realise you aren't ok and won't be till they are faced head on and dealt with.
I had got to this point quite some time before that day in the gym and was slowly working through things; you have to deal with things in your own way, in your own time, right?

TBP seemed to relate to where I was at that time.

Did this band save me?

Honestly, no. I think you draw comfort and inspiration from various sources and everything and everyone around you contributes in some way. No one band or person can 'save you' as ultimately you can only do that for yourself. Besides it is too big a burden to bear.

But the music and the members of the band have in some way touched me.

Thankyou!

Anonymous said...

PJ, the university is planning on filing a lawsuit against the band for about $20,000. I read that they may take the lawsuit to the state

Anonymous said...

BC, this is how it played out. It's hard to tell but I think there were either two or three anon's all here at the same time, really confusing to tell who is who!

An argument before the EMA's made all the sad faces.

Actually there was only one sad face. Frank tried to discuss something calmly with Gerard and ended up being 'punished for his thoughts'.

He knows only too well that Gerard is the master of passive aggressive punishment. How dare Frank tackle such a sensitive subject with Gerard! In a battle of wills between the two, and as long as Frank feels it is better to suffer an injustice than to commit one, Gerard will always win.

November 3, 2007 2:52 PM

Gerard is incredibly charasmatic, he can wrap Frank and the others around his little finger, especially Frank.

Gerard needs to be careful, if Frank is getting 'weary', he might finally be ready to give up and I don't think Gerard realizes how lost he would be without Frank.

Anonymous said...

I don't think that is necessarily what Frank meant by his location.

Gerard is incredibly charasmatic, he can wrap Frank and the others around his little finger, especially Frank.

Gerard may be charismatic, but the rest of this statement is totally untrue.

I dont wish to be pedantic, but what happened before the EMA's was between Frank and Gerard.

MCR makes me feel...everything. Music hadn't done that for me in a long time and I felt awakened. When people say there is SOMETHING special about this band, it is no exaggeration.

Yes, exactly.

Anonymous said...

Hello there DG. Did you manage to clean the shit from your backyard? :D

Anonymous said...

I understand what you are saying Mustard.
If someone who is around mcr where to post, i do not believe they could say too much with out there real personality coming threw in the way they type, hence someone recognizing them.
One anon said what he had to say and left it at that.
The other two went into this debate over who was right or wrong,
I do not think someone would do that from the crew or the band.
And maybe that first anon, was commenting on people here saying something was wrong and they looked sad, and just wanted to say everything is OK now.

Anonymous said...

Hi DG, RW!

Anonymous said...

Thank you for posting those comments anonymous, although that was such a long comment :D

Anonymous said...

Hey, I must have missed something. Did MCR and their management come out and say that they wouldn't pay for the cancelled show? I'm confused.

Anonymous said...

PJ, I do think someone from the band would appear as an anon if someone was saying something that was misleading the people on this blog. For example, SS's 'clean and sober' recently.

One of the anon's was quite adamant that the the whole band had a fight before the EMA's, and the other one seemed to want to set the record straight, they just stated that it was between Frank and Gerard.

Anonymous said...

Truthfully, i am in the middle when it comes to this lawsuit.
MCR should have been more careful as to when they canceled and when they played, because them playing Bon Jovi fucked this whole thing up. Universities spend tons of money when it comes to events like this, and all the money and time lost is costly to schools like UMaine,

HOWEVER, in that article, the writer mentions that the 20,000 dollars they are suing for is the money they lost through ADVERTISMENT, which clearly has nothing to do with the band. It was on UMaine's part to spend that shit load of money for flyer's/posters and then make the band pay for all the money isnt right.

Anonymous said...

As soon as the first anon said 'it was pasted' they lost all credibility! LOL

Hi BC, how are you?

Rest assured the yard has been repeatedly hosed this afternoon! Ha ha!

It was pretty grim though.... the main drain for the street and as we are on the end and closest to it we were the access point.

I was mortified.....i'm only little I could never produce that much!

Anonymous said...

Thanks, gel. That made it clearer.

Anonymous said...

Even if the argument was just between Frank and Gerard, it affects the entire band, not just those two in general.

Anonymous said...

I do not believe the anon who said that the band are going to return with all smiles and happy attitudes once again. What a crock of shit. When we see them smiling and enjoying themselves again, then I will believe it.

Anonymous said...

They also offered to reschedule the concert, but the university turned it down because they dont trust them or something like that.

dei gratia said...

Hey Star, PJ, Gel, Paperheart and anyone i've missed!

Oh and Mayo, of course!

Anonymous said...

Ha ha that's good DG. I'm doing pretty good.
Although I have to admit the "it was pasted" part had me in a fit of giggles ^_^

Anonymous said...

Yes, anon, the "pasted" got me too! Rahahaha!

Anonymous said...

That's another problem gel. Remember the canceled tour dates earlier this year when the band got food poisoning? They were *supposed* to reschedule them at the end of this year, and guess what? They didn't do that.

dei gratia said...

Yeah, BC I agree. Our 'special' anons have an excellent grasp of grammar and spelling.

Anonymous said...

And the anon that said it was between those two did acknowledge that fact, BC. My point is that this anon did not want us thinking incorrectly that the whole band had a fight. That would be very worrying indeed. They did not swoop in and start blabing about what the fight was about, they simply wanted us to know that whatever went down was just between Frank and Gerard (while that is not great it is better than thinking the whole band are fighting with each other). For all we know it could have been that Frank tried talking to him about MSI or the sharpie writing or anything, but it was obviously private.

Just where in that first post dose it say the whole band had a fight??
I so not see it, i think the second anon made a mistake in reading it, as i see it, by saying
(all the sad faces) it meant, the ones who had the argument made the other band members sad as well.
I know when my friends fight, it has nothing to do with me, but makes me sad anyway.

Anonymous said...

that's true PJ, it is entirely possible that the 2nd anon misundersttod the first anon's comment. They really didn't need to worry though about pointing out it wasn't the whole band fighting to stop us worrying. It became a moot point as soon as the first anon posted 'it has pasted.'

He's saying that being ignorant (which is what I was doing) is not the greatest obstacle in finding the truth (the truth about the argument before the EMAs, as that is what we were discussing).

The greatest obstacle is to finding the truth is the illusion of knowledge, meaning we/I thought that then "Anon" was just another anon and was adding to an argument by pulling shit out of their ass. Oh, was I wrong. The "illusion of knowledge." That "Anon" knows something. That's my point. And rightly so.

Anon @ 7:24-

Here's the sequence of events. There were a few anons in here discussing the EMAs and why Frank looked like he'd lost his best friend (no pun intended). With my first post this morning, I asked the anons to stop arguing and if they were going to come on here, at least have their stories straight, as it seemed it was like a ping-pong tourny. It started with this post:

And so, the Anons are back at it again. "Yes they did!" "No, they didn't!" I, for one, do not wish to read your arguments. It'd be great, since you all seem to know so much, if you could get your stories straight.

Anon @ 3:12-
Care to share how you know that a certain guitarist may be "weary." And you know what I mean. I choose to not elaborate, seeing as how he wouldn't want me to and how these blogs may be "patrolled."
What makes you so certain?

November 3, 2007 3:41 PM

And in response to that, the "Anon" posted:

I apologize, please forgive my intrusion. I did not mean to 'argue' with anyone, my intention was only to correct the anon at 2:35.

November 3, 2007 3:52 PM

To which I said:

No apology necessary, but you can understand the frustration when you have two people who have not built up a trustable reputation correct each other in what seems like a ping-pong match.

Who are we to believe?

And the same "Anon" responded back with:

I understand your frustration. It is prudent to be cautious of anon's that claim to have the latest inside scoop on the band, divulging personal information as this would not happen.

I trust most of you are able to discern a genuine message from someone trying to provoke controversy or cause dissension among you.

If a band member visited this blog, very rarely would he feel the need to interrupt the flow of conversation. If he leaves a comment, his intention would be to enhance the discussion by providing a different perspective to contemplate and consider.

The greatest obstacle to truth is not ignorance - it is the illusion of knowledge.

I believe this "Anon." Has anyone figured out why?
--------------------------------
Really? So we can believe that anon, it was 'a discussion' between Frank and Gerard that left Frank looking sad at the EMA's?

I don't know. It depends upon which response the "Anon" was referring to when he corrected the anon@ 2:35. But, I'd be willing to bet that's what he was referring to, yes.

JocelynHolly said...

MIB thanks for posting that, I was getting really really confused here!

toujours said...

at least you can still do it, paperheartxx, even if you have to wait. it sounds like it'll look cool. :)

mustard, i agree with you about the believability of the anon @ 4:28. they're saying some very familiar things to me, things we've heard before from trustworthy types.

Anonymous said...

All this anon business is confusing me

Anonymous said...

And if it were all in Latin, I believe it 100% ;)

*You know I love ya kid. How about another scavenger hunt? Not feeling it are ya?

JocelynHolly said...

I hope it looks good toujours!

And about the anons, a few of them always sound familiar, like the way they talk and put things. But it's too bad we'll never know who they really are. I can only trust some of them.

Anonymous said...

I can think of a couple of things Frank might have brought up with Gerard that might have pissed him off before the EMA's.

How do I give myself a name on here so I'm not just another anon? Anyone?

toujours said...

Anonymous said...
how can I have a name on here? I don't want to add to the confusion of all the anon's!

when you go to leave a comment, if you choose the "other" option, you can then post with any name you like.

Entropy said...

"mustard, i agree with you about the believability of the anon @ 4:28"

So do I.

Anonymous said...

Thanks Toujours!

I am the lurker formerly known as anon ;)

JocelynHolly said...

I agree as well MIB! ^_^

What could they have argued about before the EMA's?

JocelynHolly said...

I love the name Kitty!

MissTottenham said...

Hello everybody! How are we all today?

You'll have to excuse me if I lose the plot and stop making sense. I stayed up so late last night talking to you lovely people and I forgot to take my tablets (which include a sedative). I took them this morning instead and I am sooooo spaced out. My eyes are crossing and reading is difficult. If I trail off, just ignore me.

Hello Mayo, how are you today? Good I hope. Cheer the fuck up for god's sake.

So people, what the fuck have I missed ?

Magic Pie said...

awwww sorry to hear about your hair, paperheartxx. So why won't she let you dye it?

As I mentioned above, I dyed my hair today with purple chunks. We could have been purple hair buddies. :(

Anonymous said...

Its been only a couple days, and i already miss Bob.

that man is addictive

Anonymous said...

thank you paperheart! Oh don't get me started on what they could have argued about! I have loads of theories!

Entropy said...

Hello MissT!

MissTottenham said...

Hello back atcha Entropy. How are you?

toujours said...

you're welcome kitty. ^.^

hey there miss t!
*ahem*
wink wink ;)

MissTottenham said...

Sorry to hear about your hair paperheart.

I am blond and I used to have purple streaks in my hair. As the purple faded, it turned a lovely candyfloss pink.

JocelynHolly said...

Well Magic Pie, my dad works out of town, and he comes home once a month. He'll be home on November 15th for 5 days, and he doesn't like it when I dye my hair or wear too much make-up (he doesn't like the whole "punk" thing). My sister used to dye her hair all the time and he hated it when she did it. Basically, I can't do it so my dad won't freak the one time I see him this month.

Haha oooh well. At least I still get to do it! We will be purple hair buddies by the end of the month!! ^_^

Kitty you can name a few theories!

Entropy said...

I'm doing good and yourself?

MissTottenham said...

Hiya Roger!

*wink wink* Know what I mean eh, eh, eh?

JocelynHolly said...

Hey Miss T!
*hug*

That's okay, I'll get it done by the end of the month.
I'm sure that it looked amazing on you! =]

MissTottenham said...

I'm soooooo spaced out Entropy. I shoulda just skipped the tablets instead of taking them late. Oh well, it;s done now.

MissTottenham said...

Big hugs back to you paperheart.

Magic Pie said...

I totally understand, PH. I wasn't allowed to dye my hair until I turned 18. My dad still hates it when I dye my hair but I'm 26 so he can't really stop me now ;)

JocelynHolly said...

=]

Yeah, my dad is way more strict than my mom.

Anonymous said...

Here is my list of theories:

Frank told him that ppl were getting tired of the sharpie messages

Frank told him he had made a mistake bringing MSI on tour

Frank told him he had made a mistake marrying Lyn-Z

Frank told him he wanted to sleep in his own bed that night

Frank told him he is concerned about all his *partying* with his wife

oooh the possibilities are endless, but from Frank's body language that night, whatever the discussion was about, Frank did not get the response he hoped for!

On a serious note, if it really was any of the more serious issue's, I respect Frank for trying to talk to Gerard about it. Even if he failed, he tried.

Entropy said...

Aw,hope you feel better soon MissT.

toujours said...

oooh, miss t -- i'm quite sure i don't know ever so. are you being naughty?

because i can't be on with the naughtiness. oh no. innocent, am i.

*blinks like bambi*

MissTottenham said...

Aww thanks Entropy.

As for you Roger. Innocent..........

My arse ha!

You naughty little thing.

JocelynHolly said...

Kitty, those are really really good theories. I laughed at the Frank in his own bed thing! =]

I really hope that if they did have a heated discussion, Gerard knew that Frank was just trying to help.

Anonymous said...

I have to get off the PC now and go back to 'real life' but it was great to meet you all.

Hugs to all! :D

MissTottenham said...

I hope Frank took Gerard to one side and asked him to tell his wife to put bigger knickers on if she's gonna do all that bending on stage in front of the kiddies ha!

I bet that would piss Gerard off royally.

Anonymous said...

Haha, the bed comment made me laugh.

Who knows what happened, but i dont think it was anything extremely serious like people are making it out to be.

MissTottenham said...

Goodbye kitty, I love the new name.

toujours said...

now, miss t, i don't see what your arse has to do with my innocence.

*leers, albeit innocently*

Frank told him he wanted to sleep in his own bed that night

that makes me think about the fuse bamboozle interview -- "that's not what you said last night" -- lol!

JocelynHolly said...

Goodbye Kitty! *hug*

Miss T. I hope Frank said that too, or one of these days, she'll be all over the magazines like Britney Spears for that sort of thing!

MissTottenham said...

Roger, are you looking at my bum?

Unfortuately, it is not sparkly anymore. That gltter finally washed off.

toujours said...

bye kitty -- thanks for the giggle! ^.^

MissTottenham said...

Eeeeeeewwwwww paperheart. I don't even want to think about a LynZ crotch shot. I've just had my tea ha!

toujours said...

oh, miss t. your bum will always look sparkley to me.

*eyebrow waggle*

MissTottenham said...

Aw thanks TJ, you know how to cheer a girl up ha!

JocelynHolly said...

I know Miss T, neither do I!
But I'm sure she'd love that sort of publicity.

MissTottenham said...

Hey everybody, I've got an experiment.

Tonights lottery is a rollover jackpot. Let's try this out.

Think about me winning the lottery and let's see if all your thoughts make a difference. Then when I win we can share it ha!

Anonymous said...

Lyn-z may not be your umm, "typical" lady, but she isnt how people make her out to be, some slutty devil trying to take over the world.

MissTottenham said...

Yes paperheart, she is a bit of a publicity whore. Someone mentioned yesterday how Gerard starts to behave like the women he dates. Suddenly he's with a media whore and suddenly, he can't keep hie private life private anymore.

I wish he'd dump her and take up with a librarian or something ha!

Entropy said...

Didn't know you knew her personally.

toujours said...

Think about me winning the lottery and let's see if all your thoughts make a difference. Then when I win we can share it ha!

>.< thinking very hard. concentrating, concentrating...

I wish he'd dump her and take up with a librarian or something ha!

O_O lost my train of thought (i work at a library)

Anonymous said...

I dont know her, but i know a lot of people that have met her and she isnt some bitch according to them.
But eh, i dont really care for her.

MissTottenham said...

Ha Entrpoy, like that one.

So TJ, you work in a library I bet you don't flash your knickers in public though.............

Or do you?

Entropy said...

I'm picturing you winning it MissT!

MissTottenham said...

Aww thanks people for your thoughts. It's £18 million pounds or $36 million dollars, enough to go round I think.

P.S. only one anon gets a share cos there's no proof you're not all the same person ha!

toujours said...

I bet you don't flash your knickers in public though.............

well....
not since that once, anyway...

>_>

(btw, a word of advice: don't wear cotton skirts in a winter windstorm in london.)

MissTottenham said...

ooooooo TJ, windy bum ha!

toujours said...

and happy english businessmen! ^.^

MissTottenham said...

Ha TJ! Did they tip their bowler hats to you? Or just cheer like crazy?

No luck TJ. bummer.

Anonymous said...

Ya'lls favorite yellow condiment is bored as fuck. *cheesy grin*

I've got to get control on my language. It just comes out. There's absolutely nothing that can be done about. That's why I enjoyed FF2007. We should bring it back everyday so I wouldn't feel so bad about dropping f-bombs :)

Entropy said...

Aw,that sucks MissT,i was totally thinking about it.
I was looking forward to my millions.

toujours said...

mustard, i should think if there ever was a place where f-bombs could be dropped freely, it's this place. :)

MissTottenham said...

I would've gladly shared Entropy.

Entropy said...

FF2007 should be a recurrence.
There's numerous times when I went do drop the f-bomb
