Totally off topic, does anyone else remember an interview with Gerard and Frank where they answer questions in the form of a quiz, with like multiple choice answers? One of the questions was about what do you do for your gf b/day/your anniversary something like that anyway. The answers were a) nothing, you wouldn't remember it. b) rush around like a crazy person the day before trying to organise something. c) Just buy a card. d)you would organise something romantic and thoughtful. (may not be exact but close enough) anyway, Gerard said he would be B cos he is not very organised and Frank jumped in to defend him and said his heart was in the right place or something then Gerard laughs and says how he should be more like Frank cos he is like a girl when it comes to stuff like that. He said Frank would have thought about it months ahead of time and put a lot of effort into making it all perfect, choosing something that would mean a lot to the person, handling all the arrangements himself like organising flowers and a car(I'm thinking he was talking about some posh car?) man oh man, all that sexiness AND thoughtful too, Jamia is one lucky lady. It's official he is the perfect man! *yes I admit I am totally jelusss!!111!!!*

Hello, how are you this typical Tuesday? Me? Well, I sure as hell wish I had that hour of sleep back that I lost yesterday. Oh, well. Sorry we got a little rowdy in your house last night, but my sister only turns 30 once. Ya know?
Well, something still tells me you have a lot on your mind and a lot of shit on your plate. Are you tired? You do seem as if you need some rest. Not sleep....rest. But I know what it's like to never ever be able to put shit away long enough to close your eyes and refuel. You need to give yourself a break my friend. Like a certain sister of mine mentioned to you the other day, Will you ever learn to be still? Will you ever stop running? I know you have tried it before and it hasn't always worked out for you, but maybe you should give it another shot. Eventually, something or someone is going to make you stop......and then. Yeah, I know the thought scares the shit out of you. It fucks with me pretty hard when I actually stop and think about my life, but every now and then you find some of your greatest moments of peace and clarity.
I must go now...get my not ready ass ready to face what the big bad world has in store for me today. Wonder what it will be? Of course something fabulous, I wouldn't let myself think otherwise. Hell, if I did I might not even get out of that nice, warm bed.

I have to confess that I am frightened but hopeful. To me, the previous blog was filled with references to drugs, lost chances and death - and not just death, but the dubious immortality that often arises from a death that is perceived as coming too soon. Candy, contemplation, letting go and eternity... scary stuff, Mayo.
This more recent post makes me feel a bit better. I do not understand the imagery of the owl and the worm, but I totally get "divine intervention." It isn't just a song title, but something that I know you believe in. Also, it's good to know that you are thinking of old friends. I just hope and pray that you haven't driven away the one who has done the most for you.
