This is overdue. Please forgive me as I have been preoccupied with family. I had meant to post this earlier, in time with all of your moments of introspection, during "this is me". I think it is in good timing, as it seems a distraction could be in order...
I am a contradiction.
I am a planner, I plan everything. But, I have also been known to make snap decisions.
I am an idealist.
I am a realist.
I research the hell out of everything, but I am always changing my mind.
I am a workaholic, but can very easily sleep in too late...I have insomnia so the appeal of my dreams can be somewhat overwhelming.
I am a good listener, but I tend to talk over people (I am really working on that one).
I fear rejection on every level, but I am always drawing attention to myself.
I fear failure, but I am not afraid to try new things, and this constant change in scenery allows me to masquerade achievement.
I think I am always right, but I acknowledge that I make mistakes.
I am very independent and a control freak…I like to do things my way, myself. Yet, I am high maintenance and a bit of a scatter brain…therefore I require someone to look after me.
I have diagnosed clinical depression, but I can be the life of the party.
I have outrageously high standards for myself, but I am generous in allowing others to fault.
I am very loyal, but I have been known to wander off towards a novel stimulus like a moth to a flame.

Well, I don't know if there are such expressions as 'poor sausage' in English? Sometimes, German expressions fit better to describe my feelings.
Damn. I was afraid of this shit. That earlier anon... Look, there are rumors among people who... how do I phrase this without sounding like an asshole... people who are in the position to know stuff. And yeah, I don't care whether you believe that I'm one of those people or not, but rumor has it that Frank has been miserable ever since the Leathermouth gig.
You have to understand the kind of guy Frank is. He's not really cut out to be playing arena tours where bodyguards make him inaccessible to the people who come to listen to him play. He doesn't want to be told, "Hey, you can't jump into the audience and interact with fans," or "No, you can't go out and sign autographs because you're making the other guys look bad." Also, it's pretty well-known that he's the one who always makes things right when you-know-who fucks them up. He wasn't happy cleaning up the mess, but he did it because that's just what he does. He was dealing... but, then there was the Leathermouth show. It made him remember what it's like to play in a basement, to interact with fans up close and personal, to not have to be on pins and needles from worrying about what the frontman is going to do or say this time. In other words, he got a taste of what it was like not having to fake it anymore. He hasn't been the same since.
Some people think he'll suck it up and go on with MCR. The hope is that if he at least sees it through to the end of the tour, maybe after the break, things will work themselves out. Others don't think he’s coming back. I'm just hoping the earlier anon is going on rumor and that nothing has been decided yet.

Gee, ya think? See the thing is, we know we're all in the dark about MCR and their buddies and their personal lives. All we know is what we see, and all anyone here has admitted to fully understanding is that Gerard has changed and it's worrisome. Some people are okay with it. Many of us are disappointed and trying to see what might be around th ebend for him, and many of us think it doesn't look good. The rest, we're totally out of the loop--as we should be. I think I speak for mos of us when I say that our only concern is as fans of a band we like, and at least in my case, a singer I used to admire as a person.
When this all comes down and we do (or do not) find out what the eff is going on--whether with this blog, the guy who runs it, or Gerard Way--I can't honestly say I'm going to be too surprised no matter what at this point. Nor will I be too soul-destroyed. Disppointed I'm sure, but we'll live. Thanks for your concern, though.

Excuse me for asking some questions here.
You sound like you know quite a lot about Frank. It's always seemed to me that he DOES miss the fan interaction, the closeness he feels with the people beyond the stage. He seemed happier in the Warped Tour days, and the basement club days, where he could actually see the crowd's faces and hear them call to him. I can't say for the rest of the band, but Frank would probably be happier in a small venue than in an arena. Really, wouldn't the whole band fare better there? Not that they're not suited for arena shows, but I think those scare the shit out of them.
Probably why GW's so fucked up now, don't you think? Too much pressure.

Nah, I think there are some videos somewhere around but I try so hard to ignore the both of them. When he drags her onstage or disappears off stage to mack with her between songs, it becomes more difficult to ignore. He should totall clock out for breaks when he does that sort of thing. He's not getting paid to flaunt his "4EVA & EVA!!! HAPPY FLYING UNICORN LUVEEE!!!111uawepo9u0oa" on stage.

You can just go to AIM.com and download it, then you have to stay on the AIM page to make up your screen name. The only thing is as soon as you sign onto AIM each time, it hijacks your browser and takes you to the AIM page; it's a pain.
However looooots of interesting stuff comes out in chat when we put our heads together. You smell what I'm stepping in?
