These last few days, and really these couple of weeks, have been hard on everyone here. Friendships were strained, tempers ran high, and things were said in anger and hurt.
I have a feeling you are no stranger to that, and that there may be someone who you let go, possibly without even realizing they were gone.
J. and I have had some knock down drag-outs in years past, (not anymore, but hey, were older and wiser now) and I know how much it hurts to be on either end of the harsh words and anger.
But a true friendship is worth fighting for, no matter who is at fault, or what has been said or done. You have to fight just as hard to repair it as you did to break it.
It is a hard and painful lesson to learn, but don't let anything or anyone else slip through your fingers until you are holding nothing at all.

As for LynZ crowd surfing, looked more to me like she just fell through the gaps. They weren't as vile live as I expected them to be (though they really did rely a LOT on prerecorded tracks - their soundman should have taken a bow), they were pretty forgettable.
From what I know about MSI, I had a fairly good idea what I'd think about them. I had, however, reserved final judgment until I had seen them live. I have seen them live. All it did was confirm my preconceptions.

The whole of "Rio", in my opinion, is excellent. I always liked "Friends of Mine" and "Careless Memories" from the first album. I like a lot of their B-sides as well. I really like just about everything they've done. Even the cover album "Thank You"; the cover of "White Lines" was awesome live.
