TRUTH SAID -I can tell you from brutal experience that you can never truly know anyone. You can sit by a person on a bus, pass them on the street or wake up in the same bed with them for years and you still don't really know them. People let you see what they want you to see. Everyone keeps part of themselves hidden. If I met Gerard Way tomorrow and spent days with him I still wouldn't know anymore about him than I do now. Caring about someones well being shouldn't be based on if you "Know" this person. I care about many people I've never met. Does that make me a freak?

Coarse wool was worn by ascetics (monks, Sufis etc) as a means to remain uncomfortable to be humbled and what not.

Another thought, the wool (warmth) of childhood past, maybe represents someone who he connected with on this emotional level.

I (L) saw an older picture of you yesterday from a magazine, before everything went to hell in a handbasket, and on a whim, compared it to a photo from the comic signing. The eyes broke my heart. In the older one I could see the real you, the good, kind soul. The later picture showed me a man with nothing behind those eyes.
I don't cry often, but I did that morning. We all long to see that soul back in your eyes.
Shitsubou, this is J. I saw what happened with the imposter and I have to say I agree with your reaction. Your response to the bloggers was so heartfelt and sweet; now you know why we all respect you. I know it's hard, baby, but keep going. Mustard - yes I was kidding. If you actually farted mustard gas, you'd be in big trouble. Mustard Gas was used during WWII by the Germans. It was dropped on the enemies. If you were lucky, you were only blinded. Most mustard gas recipients died when their lungs siezed up.

I love the clean smell of the rain. When it's over everything seems fresh and new again. My grandma would say this is good sleeping weather. It's about 70 degrees so the windows are open. Man, I'm making myself tired.

The warm rain is nice especially for this time of year. It should be colder. Wonder what Halloween will be like. This weather would be perfect minus the rain of course. Wouldn't want the little kiddies costumes all wet.
I love when the rain makes everything smell fresh. I live by the woods and it is a fantastic scent
Oh no I think the pitter patter of the rain has put us all to sleep.
In the country we always smell the rain coming.
It smells cool and green.
We can see it approach like a beautiful grey curtain, hearing it tapping out a quickening rhythm on the leaves as it gets closer.
we also have a frog we call our rain frog, he croaks when rain is coming and birds nicknamed storm birds (channel billed cuckoos) which fly around calling.
Nature always heralds the rain.
We don't celebrate halloween here, plus where I am it would just be us and the animals.

You are very lyrical and it's lovely. I love how you can smell the rain coming. However here you can sometime feel storms coming. I live where tornados are frequent. When one is coming you can definitly feel it in the air. The hair stands up on the back of your neck. It's such a strange feeling and believe it or not the sky does go an off shade of green.

Tornadoes would terrify me.
We have cyclones/ hurricanes, but you know they are coming.
I have seen green skies - here it preceeds hail.
I feel connected to storms, I was in the midst of one as a child, and had to run from the house as the roof blew off. I to this day feel their presence keenly, like my whole being tunes in.
I love them but I am afraid at the same time, that is what makes them so fascinating.

Ergoproxy I will definitly check out your poety. When I was younger I spent hours writing poetry. It was always dark and morbid. I was so like Lydia in Beetlejuice. You know "I'm so alone" No wait, "I'm so utterly alone." LOL

I thought so. I have all the seasons of Buffy on DVD. Loved that show so much. I have many of the books too.
Yeah, Buffy is definately the best show, fallowed closely by Angel.
I have some of the books too,I wish I had the dvds though, I never really could afford it.
I love Angel too especially when Spike got to the show. The other day I got out the first season and watched it again. I was so sad when Doyle died.
I just created a blog because of the compassion and good writing I've seen while I've been lurking. It doesn't matter who Mayo is, it just matters that this is one place where I've seen camraderie and general niceness.
I really loved the final season of Angel, I thought it was the best.
Doyle,the first soilder down,it was really sad when he died.
