Why are my fingers cold
When they trace the back
Of your neck and up under
Your hair? It is smooth and pitch
And I wish it were my own
To push behind my ears
Before falling over your eyes.
Willing, asking it to stay.
Where it stayed...
Your shoulder now holds the ends
Fresh from washing, shiny and wet.
I rest my palm there then drift
Down your arm to your elbow,
And pull you into me. To find a way
To warm my hands that you find
Already warm and willing to stay.
Moonlit Night
Tu Fu
Translated by David Hinton
Tonight at Fu-chou, this moon she watches
Alone in our room. And my little, far off
Children, too young to understand what keeps me
Away, or even remember Ch'ang-an. By now,
Her hair will be mist scented, her jade-white
Arms chilled in its clear light. When
Will it find us together again, drapes drawn
Open, light traced where it dries our tears?

Good morning, Mayo, Ergo, Anons, and Good Morning. =)
Thanks for the links, 3:07am May 6. Yeah, I have heard of Karen O - thanks to Mayo's a few years ago. "Indie rock yowl" Love it. I hope it will do well. =)
Short trip is right! Oz in a day and back is very do-able *cough* Harry Potter film prop/costume exhibition *cough*
Cod-pieces...I have no idea how they kept straight faces hahaha!
Ergo!!
Hi. =)
Okay, I've been holding it in, but K-pop just got revolutionised!!
This!! -> Junsu/ Xia - Tarantallegra
A Korean musical/ballad singer busting out of his genre, Jeri Slaughter choreography and Flowsiks rapping.
Long history short, 5 member group TVXQ were bound under 13 year contracts to SM Entertainment: 2 hours sleep a day, minimal payment, not enough food, told what to sing etc.
All Korean men have 2 years compulsory military service before the age of 30, so they were effectively indentured for the rest of their youth.
Three members split in 2010 and became JYJ, writing their own songs, taking control of their careers. The Boy's Letter.
SME has huge power in the Korean entertainment world. SME told all media networks in Japan and Korea that JYJ songs were never to be played on music programmes or radio, under threat of withdrawing all SME artists. Before every JYJ individual activity ( Jaejoong and Juchuns tv dramas, JYJ concert in Chile) SME puts out a smear campaign. Just vindictive.
And now Junsu has come out with a solo album effectively making SME's threats null and void. Will a member of JYJ finally get their music played in Korea? =)
*freaking excitedly*
This is going to be interesting. =)
^ Recommend headphones just for the Tarantallegra kettledrums. =)
Somebody that I used to know
Good Morning!
Hi PP!!!!!!
Trip in one day? Yep we aussies and kiwis often pop to each other's countries for a quick visit, we can because we live in the future compared to UK and US and we have many wondrous devices as yet unknown to the 'past dwellers'
Do you get the show Popasia over there?
We get it sunday mornings on SBS, it's really good, shows heaps of Kpop, Jpop etc, I've seen those guys on it. All the video clips are so polished, miss10's a bit of a Girl's Generation and Orange Caramel fan.
There is so much talent but the contracts they put them under would never be allowed outside their own countries. It's amazing that in this day & age it exists.
Hi there. =)
May 14 1:06pm - the view count!! Wow. Imagine if that equals sales. =)
'Evening, Ergo!
The West Island is so much more exciting than the North or South Island! Thank goodness for awesome time travelling skills!!
We don't get PopAsia here, but I did catch it once while over your way. I like that they took requests off their website. =)
We've six Korean channels here, but the MVs are scattered around. PopsinSeoul isn't too bad, but is about 4 weeks behind charts.
Yay, for Miss 10! My girl likes both those groups too! Does Miss 10 do the Gee dance? And aren't Orange Caramel videos the cutest?!
F(x), is kind of catchy for younger ones. Pink tank!!
Yeah. Most contracts are total rubbish! I think Kpop going global is going to be a double edged sword for entertainment companies there. Questions are going to be asked about some of their methods. Cjes, YG and JYP seem reasonable companies. Cube and LoenEnt overwork their artists. SME is the most powerful, but they are no better than a child factory farm, give their kids plastic surgery and tell them what songs to sing. >_<
Junsu's lyrics and images completely expose the darker side of how K-entertainment works. He's great.
International viewers will hopefully instigate change.
OMG I waffle some. =(
Hope you all have a lovely day. =)
Oh gosh yes!!! I get the Gee song stuck in my head, it's so damn catchy. She also loves The Boys, it's funny singing along with it all as you have no idea what they say apart from occasional english words. I like Twinkle too that the 3 girls do as TTS.
We'll check out F(x), I will have to start writing down artists when we watch the show there are so many I lose track of who I liked.
Have you seen Big bang have a plane for their Japan tour? It's painted with them on the side! You know you're popular then lol
Popasia do a live streaming radio show off the SBS site, you may be able to listen to that and it has the shows on to watch if they allow NZ viewers.
here
There are asian fans (living in asia that is) on the facebook page and they see to be able to access it.
and
Good Morning!
But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
And that feels so rough
You didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
I guess that I don't need that though
Now you're just somebody that I used to know
