Okay I think I’m all caught up now. Wow, I love the painting. Red and blue (and yellow) were always my favorite colors when I painted these. I love how the colors, while they do form a boundary of sorts, still allow the freedom of the work to shine through. My art never contained such boundaries even though some thought it did. Thanks for sharing your work Mayo. I hope you were smiling when you created this. I know how much I’m smiling right now (like an idiot), thanks again.
it's nice having you back sis M! it was nice seeing kass today also. this is a funny old place. even though there can be shit and hurt, we miss it when we aren't here!
and it's had a reasonably nice vibe today i think.
elena i meant to comment on the guy on your bumper the other night when you were driving! i would have panicked! what an ass hole! glad it all turned out alright!
Thinking back I should have called 911 as soon as he turned off his lights and stayed on my bumper but I had never had a situation like that come up before. The world is a bit scary sometimes.
i sometimes think back to close shaves i've had with things/people. you look back and think "god it could have all been sooo different!" and thank goodness it wasn't!
right i am gonna have a wander and catch up on emails for a bit. will pop in a bit later.

That goes against what Amyranth said though.
Please, can we finally just forget about the clash of opinions and agree to disagree???
I doubt it. Amyranth wasn't the only one who was hurt by the endless quotes, poems and "about me" posts
I had a guy following on my bumper one night last week. Unfortunately, though, I tend to get pissed off before I get scared, and I do stupid things. :\ When I got to the next red light, I put the car in park, got out and started stomping towards the tail-gater. He didn't stick around long enough for me to find out who he was.
I'm glad you're safe; there are a lot of scary (crazy) people out there nowadays! (And thanks for the book advice!)
There are a lot of scary people out there, Sister. That is why I'm always telling my girls to be careful epecially at night when they drive home from work. I'm just glad this didn't happen to one of them.
I doubt it. Amyranth wasn't the only one who was hurt by the endless quotes, poems and "about me" posts
I know it does, and I do understand that Amyranth (and others) would prefer not to skip over posts. But there are too many people posting here to please everyone; it's a great idea, but I really can't see it working in a blog with this many commenters.
This is JUST an example; these are not my feelings personally, and people either know me by now or they don't. But the conversations between, say, BC and TJ and Amyranth may not appeal to other people, either. Yet should they stop posting, because they're not 'appealing' to everyone else? Hell, no. But the same rule has to work both ways, or the blog becomes un-fixable.
If they are NOT willing to stop with their self centered posts then isn't it better if they just don't come back?
Sorry, but I really believe that only Mayo has that right to decide who stays and who goes. Personally, I'd rather not see *anyone* made to feel like they shouldn't be here. Even the anons who come here just to start shit have the right to post. I hate WHAT they post, but only Mayo can decide whether they stay or go, y'know?
Could you maybe explain what you mean by 'self-centered'? Because I see that term as being pretty subjective. It's been thrown around here concerning so many people, that I'd say it's more of an opinion than a fact.
"But the conversations between, say, BC and TJ and Amyranth may not appeal to other people, either. Yet should they stop posting, because they're not 'appealing' to everyone else?"
Amyranth already addressed this.
"What's that? Scroll past it? You know, that would be a genius idea, if it didn't make up 75% of the blog replies. Ignore, ignore all you want, but it is still there. It's still used to derail current topics of conversation. It's used to force people to stop talking, and it's used for attention. It's beyond pathetic."
See the difference?
"Could you maybe explain what you mean by 'self-centered'? Because I see that term as being pretty subjective. It's been thrown around here concerning so many people, that I'd say it's more of an opinion than a fact."
She addressed this too
Constant self-centered posts, be they about what you're doing every exact second of every day, or posts as "Random Televison Character" really monopolize the conversation.
People will not conform to your expectations. They will not conform to your will. They will not take up your ideals, your thoughts, or your mentality. They especially will not tolerate attitude from anyone who attempts to lord over them.
I understand what Amyranth is trying to say. Really, I do. But it's still a matter of perception. Because you're referencing Amyranth's posts, I'm going to point out some of hers, as well.
Please keep in mind that I'm not trying to accuse, or point a finger at Amy, or anyone else.
A few blog posts ago, Amyranth was talking about finding some kick-ass potatoes at the local Farmer's Market for a better price than they are in the grocery store. A few other people commented, and joked around about stealing them from her. It was something in her life, and because she was talking about her travels, some might find her post self-centred. Others might have been so bored by the conversation about potatoes, that they left. My point is that Amyranth has a right to post whatever she wants. and SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE.
So here's my question: Just because some might not like what Amyranth is posting about, does that mean that she should stop posting? Or be driven away from the blog?
Again, HELL NO.
However, to say that certain people can post whatever they want, but others should be restricted as to what they can and can't talk about, is beyond elitist: it's Communist Russia during the Stalin and Lenin regime. This is a blog, not a political dictatorship, so what's allowed for one needs to be allowed for all. Otherwise, ol' Beelzebub will be ice-skating down in Hell before the problems around here get fixed.
anon using Amy's words you do realise that you are using a person's suggestion, (based on her viewpoint, which was posted at her own blog, and may or may not be agreed to by everyone and as it was a suggestion she would have been completely aware of that, it was not posted as some kind or order as you seem to be making it out to be) as an excuse to continually harass people which was not the intent of the author. The continued reposting and referencing of it in relation to people is doing exactly what you appear to enjoy accusing people of doing, as if you take the first part you reposted @ 4:06 (after, in case you had forgotten, you had actually been requested by Amy, to stop reposting it a number of times) you are doing exactly the same. This tells me that your intent is harassment as if you had any respect for the author you would have heeded her request, Also I am completely certain that you are well aware of what you are doing and you appear to have no good intentions in relation to the blog at all. I still fail to see why anonymous posters seem to feel they are the ones who need to somehow supervise and control the actual people on the blog, when we are quite capable of doing that ourselves
That's a very nice and original painting! I definitely see the bird in this abstract beautiful-ness. Like everyone else, I can definitely see the bird. Combustible cock? Flammable Fingers? You can only imagine what your titles seem to suggest. I like the red background, it goes with your fiery theme. I can interpret as much out of this painting as everyone else, but only you know what it truly represents.
You seem to be a very artistic person. You represent your emotions, thoughts, feelings, etc with beautiful words and visuals (pictures, paintings etc). Never give up on that, Mayonaise. To me, that's pretty cool because I've always tried to express myself in the ways you do. It never works that well.
Currently, I'm baking cookies. Shortbread cookies to be exact. That's my way of expressing myself.Hahaha. I bake when there's shit bugging me, or if I'm sad or pissed or just feeling blue. What's funny is, I don't know what gave me the impulse to bake today.. Oh well. Sometimes we need to break the mold. I better run and check on them before I burn my house down. Back later.
Well I just see a lot ofpeople not taking Amy's SUGGESTION to heart and a lot of people disagreeing with it. I guess those people don't want to save the blog.
anon as is the entire concept of a suggestion, if you agree with it, that is fine, but no one is forcing anyone, and replacing what you may view as "blog clutter" with a different "blog clutter" is hardly conducive to change.
4:52, I can understand that you like Amyranth's suggestion. But honestly, I'm sure that everyone has their own suggestions about how to "fix" this blog. Mayo's made his blog public for us, but it's not up to us to police it or not police it. People post, and we all have two choices: read it, or skip it. That's the reality, whether anyone likes it or not.
Well I just see a lot ofpeople not taking Amy's SUGGESTION to heart and a lot of people disagreeing with it. I guess those people don't want to save the blog.
i think we all very much want to see this blog continue in an amicable way.
guys! sorry i realised Heroes was on and now i have to go!
Miss T, Ernie's well, rabid as ever. ^_^ His new toothpaste works wonders for the breath! He's been hibernating -- apparently I'm no fun because I work too much.
Another thing. I was glad when Amyranth singled out Kapunua like I always am when she singles her out. SOMEone else has to aside from the OPS and us anons. So when Amyranth points the finger to her I give a cheer.
5:27 no one has to answer anything and she has a blog available for such things if anyone wished to, so bringing it up here is again just coming across as harassing
so honest question, was PROFIE on the screen shot with the red markings? or on the real one?
Oh and if you send an email, like make up an email so i dont find out your real ID, then i can send you it, but like i said, i aint bothered, i dont bring it up, i think it was in fact yourself.
well hello alf, how is the bay? Not yet, i need to bleach a few things and then re-pack because i have far too many clothes lol. I havent even started on my bags and shoes yet.
Sheffy wag - hello there love, only 4 days left yayness :) how are you?
ergo, you have a rain frog? ohh do tell, i am intriged lol. my friend used to have a frog at her front door and it croacked everytime someone walked past it, bloody made me jump, i tell ya.
I was staying in the Ealing/Acton area. Which I have discovered is not far from Balham. I will defo make another trip to meet you sweetie. maybe before crimbo eh?
ohhh, bella. will you be putting it on any myspace? i still wanna hear the dolphy sing :)
I am ok, looking after the tornado at the moment, her mummy is comming to get her so its breathing time then lol. I am going home on monday, i will explain loads in an email.
You know, I find it somewhat annoying when there's anons who *think* they speak for everyone. Mayo's posts don't interest me. Get it right next time.
Elena, I haven't heard about that series, only that mikey was writing a comic.
Miss T, it's the current issue of Buffy, which is #18, #19 comes out next month. I think the series is going to be published for two years, so it's a lot of comics to collect from now until then.
and anon I think Mayo did it fr fun, and all of us are actually taking it that way, but that doesn't mean we can't say what we like about it either
Fim is one (or a few) frogs that tend to start croaking when the air pressure drops, and that's usually a precursor to rain, they are better predictors than weather men! we also have storm birds (channel billed cookoos) which fly about calling as the wet season begins, the more they do it the wetter it's supposed to be
Knees up Mother Brown Knees up Mother Brown Under the table you must go Ee-aye, Ee-aye, Ee-aye-oh If I catch you bending I'll saw your legs right off Knees up, knees up Never get the breeze up Knees up Mother Brown
Oh my, what a rotten song What a rotten song What a rotten song Oh my, what a rotten song And what a rotten singer Too-oo-ooh
Did you see the last race? My heart bled for poor Massa. I read Ferrari are returning to using a lollipop man in pit lane instead of electronics. Twas a costly lesson to learn!
That's exactly why so many anon's get bitched at when they post here -- a lot of you never have anything constructive, or even vaguely interesting, to say. I'm sure Kapunua really cares if you don't like her -- um, NOPE!
Whine about the Porchies some more. I'm sure the people you're bitching about will care about your whiny-ass opinion as much as the rest of us do. Which is not at all.
Well, I hope its not too late to take the lead from Hamilton.
You know I cannot stretch to say "poor Kimi", I just can't.
I'm glad you enjoyed the visits to the museums. I have not been to any for a while-the last one I was at was The Clink Prison museum in London Bridge. It was interesting seeing how the Tudors managed prisoners (it was actually quite gruesome).
Yeah, I guess it is all down to Massa now to take it from Lewis. I hope he does or it will be unbearable to watch anymore F1 TV. It will be so sickly with the ass kissing and lewis will look so smug. Massa is nice and he deserves it.
the last one I was at was The Clink Prison museum in London Bridge. It was interesting seeing how the Tudors managed prisoners (it was actually quite gruesome).
Well let's send best thoughts to Massa on the few race days that are left.
And no, I won't/can't say it (shudder).
Anyway, I must go to bed now. I hate the first week back at work after holiday cos it is so knackering and I always have a deep feeling that there really must be more to life. Next week will be back to normal.
NONE of the porchies have directly answered Amyranth's Fix.
Why would they? Was the fix directed at them?
October 8, 2008 6:35 PM"
They were the ones doing "random television characters". And the part about "Here's something else to ponder. Why would you discuss things, or even provide information that you can be used to harass you and possibly make your life unhappy?
This is the internet, darlings. Regardless of who you are, you should never provide information, or allow access to information that anyone can use to identify you offline. Ever. Period. You put yourself and everyone around you at serious risk when you do that.
Why make yourself a target? Why make anyone else an unwilling target?"
was to Kapunua and Sdock. Who else would it be about? (Sdock's real name, where she works and her hometown have all been posted on the blog).
Do you believe a change in your attitude can truly change the world around you? Or do you believe it simply changes your view and has no actual affect on the world?
The way you think alters how you perceive the world and, therefore, how you act and react. It would affect how you interact with other people and, in turn, what they got out of that interaction with you would affect how they interact with others. Even if this interaction were to be seen at the time to be short-term and relatively insignifant, the domino effect could have significant results.
So yes, I think a change in a person's attitude can change the world.

You cant change the world But you can change the facts And when you change the facts You change points of view If you change points of view You may change a vote And when you change a vote You may change the world
In black townships fires blaze Prospects better premier says Within sight are golden days
Princess di is wearing a new dress
You cant change the world But you can change the facts And when you change the facts You change points of view If you change points of view You may change a vote And when you change a vote You may change the world
I'm well, thanks :) I shall be up later tonight that I really should be. I've joined an online Toronto swap group where people post items they're wanting to find, swap, or give away. I posted my Fluevog boots to give away. I got several responses. I contacted one of them this morning & she is dropping by tonight to try them on. She doesn't get off work til 10pm though. I am usually in bed by then, so I expect to be tired tomorrow!
I think it's a great idea. Mostly I just take my stuff to the thrift store when I'm not using it anymore. But these are designer boots, barely worn. I'd rather give them to an individual who I know will love to have them, than a generic shop.
This woman was very excited when I contacted her about them. I hope they fit her. The reason why I still have them is that they're too small around the calves for any of my friends who've expressed interest in them.
I actually feel a little heart-sick for the people who were interested in them that I didn't contact :( I wish I had a pair for everyone. I know what it feels like to be excited about the prospect of something & then be disappointed.
There, I caught up! And sub Todd, a change in attitude doesn't necessarily change the world, but it can definitely make a person feel better in general.
even if no one gets me, if i'm the only one laughing at my jokes, i won't hide myself away from life. it's uncertain and it's dirty and it's fucking exciting, and i want to be a part of all of it.
it's too good to waste in hiding.

heart full
Today on my way home from class, I stopped off at the petrol station for some petrol. I paid on my card which wasn’t a lot, and then as I was getting into my car, I saw an old man walking past the building. He had a red and green stripy jumper which was frayed at the ends. He was also wearing some jeans that were dirty and had holes all over.
I sat there and became intrigued by him because I didn’t know what he was doing, so as I sat there and watched him, he continued doing what he set out to do.
He walked past the trash cans and first picked out a cup with some drink still in it (one of the cups that you get from burger king that has coke in it). He then walked over to the next trash can and pulled out the end of a half eaten sandwich. In my shock horror, he ate it and then went to sit on the wall to drink the drink he had found.
I felt sad, I wanted to give him my last $4 that I had but I was told when I was younger that you should never give people money, you should give them something they need or can use because that way, if they had an addiction, they would not be able to use the money for their addiction. So I went into the shop and bought a chicken sandwich from their deli counter and then walked out of the building.
The guy was still sat at the wall drinking his drink so I walked up to him and asked him if he would like this sandwich. He thanked me and said that he was hungry.
I should of felt good after that, doing something for someone else but all I could think of is where his next meal will come from or where in fact he will sleep tonight.

It helped.
Jennicula,
Thank you for sharing your story. Although it only appeared briefly, I was lucky enough to have caught it.
Once upon a time, for me, that was the best part of this place...having my words related back to me from another's perspective.
And it never mattered to me who said it, just that it meant something to the writer.

Don't let anyone tell you how to live your life. Hold your head up high and be proud of who you are. If you've had a shitty day and you feel like people just don't want you to be happy, and when you find yourself struggling to make it through the day, just keep on believing and keep the faith. Also, from personal experience, don't push people away. When they say they want to help and that they are there for you, let them in. Believe me, I know how fucking scary that thought is, but don't shut others out.

Retro-spectacled
Sometimes, when you look back on stuff in your life, you know, the crap that makes you shake your head and say, "Holy shit, what the Hell was I thinking?" it's part of what makes you - you.
I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. I have made small mistakes and really big, fucking scary mistakes. Would I change those mistakes and blunders?
No. Wanna know why?
Because they make me - me. They help make up the person that I am, what I've learned the hard way. Hopefully I've learned from my mistakes and have become a better person for it. And, hopefully I don't repeat those same mistakes. Although, sometimes I repeat variations of certain ones, but I'm working on that. :)

aloft
Blazing against the sun like locusts, samaras swarm the sky and skitter to an earthly end, dry like clever words. I want to make them fly up, flip heaven upside down and dance across the top of hell and sing your thoughts to the sound of thunder that you love so well, rip open the littered sky and bathe in the light or draw across the firmament the blanket of the night.
In only a day they have covered the ground, their brief flight yielding nothing permanent on infertile land, a fleeting moment of swarming glory that calls to mind our own short story: Diamonds and petals, the loom and the light, the inkdark moon, foxfire marsh, an open, waiting hand.
Clever winged seeds of childhood reminiscent-- and like the idiot grown-up heart, as stubbornly indehiscent.

Electric Blue
…today I saw a ulysses butterfly it was in our yard and settled to feed on our hibiscus. They really are fantastically beautiful things, the electric blue is amazing, however as they sit with their wings closed they are rather nondescript and dull. Sometimes people are like that, from the outside they seem unappealing but within there hides an amazing beauty for those lucky enough to see it. I hope you appreciate beauty in all things, and look for it perhaps where others miss it.

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL.
I read your post again and suddenly without warning memories of construction paper filled my head. I remembered all the lop-sided flowers my girls made when they were young. Bright blue, yellow and pink flowers that were cut out with blunt end scissors would fill the windows to decorate for Easter. An occasional bunny was attempted but those usually ended up looking like creatures from a horror movie. Flowers were so much easier. I can close my eyes and hear the paper being cut into petals. I can smell the Elmer’s glue squirted on in huge blobs to attach each misshapen petal to form the flowers. We had a huge arts and crafts box full of wonderful items just waiting for their imaginations to turn into something wonderful. In my mind I see my daughters, as they once were, small, blond little girls sitting on the floor surrounded by scraps of paper and other art supplies. They would create their masterpieces then proudly show each other. Oh and Lord the messes that would ensue if the glitter made an appearance. Now, the box is forgotten. I’m not really sure where it even is anymore. The few flowers so lovingly created that survived are faded and dusty and high on a shelf they sit. Time marches on, so many things get left behind.
Today was the first Easter I spent alone. I don’t think it really upset me until I remembered the construction paper flowers. Of course I understand that my daughters are growing up and have lives of their own. But understanding doesn’t make it any easier to accept. I miss my little girls in their frilly Easter dresses. I miss the laughter that filled the house when they found what the Easter Bunny left for them. And I miss making the damn flowers.

Hi FASC!
Hi Elena, Princess, Kapunua, and anyone I've missed!
Hey Sister
How are you today?
Hi FASC, Smoke and K
hey again elena and sis M!!
it's nice having you back sis M! it was nice seeing kass today also. this is a funny old place. even though there can be shit and hurt, we miss it when we aren't here!

I doubt it. Amyranth wasn't the only one who was hurt by the endless quotes, poems and "about me" posts
Like Amyranth said in The Fix part 2, What are you willing to work on?
What aren't you willing to do?
Why?
If they are NOT willing to stop with their self centered posts then isn't it better if they just don't come back?
Hi Elena! Doin' OK, thanks -- you?

Even the anons who come here just to start shit have the right to post. I hate WHAT they post, but only Mayo can decide whether they stay or go, y'know?
Could you maybe explain what you mean by 'self-centered'? Because I see that term as being pretty subjective. It's been thrown around here concerning so many people, that I'd say it's more of an opinion than a fact.
Hello Heart Anon.
AND from WENDY,
And, for anyone who can't or won't even try respecting others; for those who continue with the insults, accusations and juvenile name calling...
This goes out to Fimble Star with her pointing the finger at the OPS from day ONE with her fake email.
*yawns*
Elena did you suggest Mayo finger pants?
oops, I mean paints
4:08, I have no idea what you're talking about, but I would like to know what you're basing that assumption on.
Yep, Anon. I suggested it.
good morning!
hi sisM Elena anons
how is everyone?
Hey Ergo
How's it going?
anon using Amy's words
you do realise that you are using a person's suggestion, (based on her viewpoint, which was posted at her own blog, and may or may not be agreed to by everyone and as it was a suggestion she would have been completely aware of that, it was not posted as some kind or order as you seem to be making it out to be)
as an excuse to continually harass people which was not the intent of the author.
Mayonaise,
That's a very nice and original painting!
Back later.

Hi everyone.
Bella and SIM, so glad to see you round these parts.
Glad you got that computer fixed Bella. Did you feel lost without it. I know I do.
How is everyone?
Well I just see a lot ofpeople not taking Amy's SUGGESTION to heart and a lot of people disagreeing with it. I guess those people don't want to save the blog.
I'm really good thanks elena :)
glad to catch you before I go to work, though I found out yesterday that it's swimming carnival tomorrow so I don't have to work - yay!
how are you?
did you have a good day yesterday?
anon as is the entire concept of a suggestion, if you agree with it, that is fine, but no one is forcing anyone, and replacing what you may view as "blog clutter" with a different "blog clutter" is hardly conducive to change.
Hi Paperheart, oh now I want a cookie.
Hi MissT
Hi PH *hug*
how are you?
Hi MissT I've missed talking with you since I was away, then you were away, it's lovely to see you again :)
Hiya Elena sweetie.
Hiya PH sweetie, I've missed you too sweetie.
How are the George pics coming along hhaha?
Hey everyone. Miss T, so good to see you again. How are you? How was London?
hi BC
Hiya BC sweetie.
I'm good thanks if not a little tired. How are you sweetie?
Hi Ergo!
Hi Miss T!
I guess those people don't want to save the blog.
i think we all very much want to see this blog continue in an amicable way.
guys! sorry i realised Heroes was on and now i have to go!
have fun, play nice and love to you all!
mayo and SS *hugs*
Hiya sis M sweetie. How is Ernie these days?
My advice on how to fix the blog is that we are only allowed to discuss pizza and F1 racing.
I would be happy as Larry. not sure about the rest of you though.
Hi and bye FASC. Enjoy Heroes.
I'm alright Miss T, getting ready to leave for a bit. Hi Ergo, elena, sis m, anyone else about.
You going anywhere nice BC?
hi and bye fasc!
Hiya ergo sweetie.
Bye FASC
Hey BC
Hello Mayo,SS and Lovelies!
nice to see you back bella!
Thanks Faraway! :)
MISST,SISM,SHAME and PH!
So good to see you,ladies!
Did you feel lost without it. I know I do.
I did MissT...I did...
*strokes her monitor affectionately*
So,how've you been guys?
Hey sis m. Hi and bye faraway
Not really Miss T, just to the bookstore to pick up a comic or book or two.
Hey Bella, good to see you. Hi elena.
Hi Miss T, Bella, BC!
Hello Bella
How are you doing?
BC - what comics?
Hello BC and SisM!
*HUGS*
I just missed Faraway,didn't I?
If your beef is with Kapunua why don't you approach her yourself anon?
I have but as you know Kapunua likes to ignore people who don't kiss her ass.
NONE of the porchies have directly answered Amyranth's Fix.
good afternoon everyone.
Have you all had a lovely Wednesday?
4.08
Offer still stands so if you would like to take it up, then please do so rather than spout lies. thank you very much :)
Hi bella! I didn't know you were still here, I'm good thanks
you're well?
You know as well as I do that once you suggest to her that she should stop being a bitch, she writes you off.
Oh...and hi Elena!
I'm fine,thanks for asking.
And you?
*hugs Bella back*
Elena, just the newest issue of Buffy. I haven't picked it up yet.
I have one word for you Fimble star. PROFIE
Hi ergo!
I'm good,thanks. :)
FIIIIMBLEEE!
I've missed youuuuuuuu!
5:27 no one has to answer anything and she has a blog available for such things if anyone wished to, so bringing it up here is again just coming across as harassing
no one cares what the porkies do or don't do. get over it
i have this for you anon.
photo-shop.
so honest question, was PROFIE on the screen shot with the red markings? or on the real one?
Oh and if you send an email, like make up an email so i dont find out your real ID, then i can send you it, but like i said, i aint bothered, i dont bring it up, i think it was in fact yourself.
Hi fim my bonza shiela, all packed?
BELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How the hell are you? i have missed you too. What have you been up to and how is my #1 band to stalk ;)
Hey fimmy
Anon I have told Kapunua I don't agree with everything she posts directly and I have never had a problem with her.
I also have never spoken to her rudely.
Yeah, no ass kissing here, not at all. You all just praise FINGERPAINT, and try to find meaning in it, that's all.
Nope, no ass kissing.
well hello alf, how is the bay?
Not yet, i need to bleach a few things and then re-pack because i have far too many clothes lol. I havent even started on my bags and shoes yet.
I think i may be putting it off :)
He's been hibernating -- apparently I'm no fun because I work too much.
LOL, I still love ya.
LOL Bella, you can stop stroking the screen now, you'll leave sticky prints hahaha.
Cool BC, any specific book/comic in mind?
Kapu is a firecracker. She doesn't take shit from people. And this is why she's a bitch I guess. You could interpret it that way.
5:33, time to get off your high horse.
I'm doing well, Bella. Thanks for asking. Right now I'm decorating the house for Halloween. I'd forgotten how much fun this can be.
BC - I can't wait for the DC Halloween issue with Mikey's story.
Hey Fimble, how are you?
Fim I always pack at the last minute and take far too much, if I had to pack to move I'd need a shipping container!
and the bay is lovely, cool day so far, but will warm up. quite humid and my rain frog has been croaking so could be showers on the way
Hello everyone!
Miss T, you were in Balham-I live just one train stop from there. Am gutted I did not get to meet you.
What part of London did you stay in?
You have a bright future ahead babe!
xxx
Hey Elena,
I am very good thank you, fine and dany tip top and shandy :)
Thank you for suggesting mayo do a finger painting, am i right in thinking you did? I like the colours, blue is my favourite.
How are you today?
Mayo's painting is shit. my 6yr old nephew could do better.
oh elena should I be decorating now? how soon do you have to be finished?
and you need to send me some recipes!
I have one pumpkin hanging up already
Mayo new post please. this one sucks.
good for your 6 yo nephew! I hope you encourage his creativity with as much enthusiasm as you criticise here
HI EB! how are you?
hello eliza.
Sheffy wag - hello there love, only 4 days left yayness :) how are you?
ergo, you have a rain frog? ohh do tell, i am intriged lol. my friend used to have a frog at her front door and it croacked everytime someone walked past it, bloody made me jump, i tell ya.
You could say the same thing about a Jackson Pollock painting and they're worth millions.
Hey Fimble!
I'm great,thanks.
I've started Uni and the band is good. We've been practicing Pantera's "Cowboys from hell"!I love that song...
And you?
LOL Bella, you can stop stroking the screen now, you'll leave sticky prints hahaha.
....DAMN!
Hello Eliza!
Who here wants to bet that all the "this post is shit" comments are just the regular members signing under anon?
Wow EB37, you are so close.
I was staying in the Ealing/Acton area. Which I have discovered is not far from Balham. I will defo make another trip to meet you sweetie. maybe before crimbo eh?
Did you have a great time in Ireland?
I don't understand your logic anon.
What has his post to do with the discussion taking place now?
ohhh, bella. will you be putting it on any myspace? i still wanna hear the dolphy sing :)
I am ok, looking after the tornado at the moment, her mummy is comming to get her so its breathing time then lol. I am going home on monday, i will explain loads in an email.
i thought you finished uni?
Yo fimmy dude!
How's it hanging?
Mayo, I dont know much about art and I shouldn't critisise cos I can't do any better, but I have coughed up stuff that looked earliy similar to this.
Eerily even
anon at 5:40,
I always thought Jackson Pollock was overrated...
5:43, are you talking about my comment at 5:41?
Booya!
So do I 5:47.
But you know, horses for courses.
5:33,
You know, I find it somewhat annoying when there's anons who *think* they speak for everyone.
Yeah Fimble is was my suggestion and I love it. Aren't the colors great!
Hey Eliza good to see you.
Ergo - yes start decorating now. I'll send you some recipes soon.
No 5:48, it was to 5:40.
and anon I think Mayo did it fr fun, and all of us are actually taking it that way, but that doesn't mean we can't say what we like about it either
Fim is one (or a few) frogs that tend to start croaking when the air pressure drops, and that's usually a precursor to rain, they are better predictors than weather men!
we also have storm birds (channel billed cookoos) which fly about calling as the wet season begins, the more they do it the wetter it's supposed to be
Blimey BC, that's a long time. Mind you, if I start to collect something, I have to keep going till i have a full set.
everything is hanging fine and dandy miss t. Have you been on f/b recently?
elena, i agree but for some strange reason, it reminds me of bonfire night. I dont know why, it just does.
that should be
*fr = for
and "fim, it's...."
not "fim is one frog...." lol
and a guard frog is pretty cool!
thanks elena!
You'll hear your Dolphy sing,I promise. :)
We were actually thinking about having a MySpace for the band.
If we do it,I'll put the song on it,don't worry!
i thought you finished uni?
This is my second year.
You're goig back home?Really?
Wow,I bet you're excited!
*waves to Tornado*
Too hot to handle! *giggles*
Ireland was relaxing Miss T as it rained for most of the time so was unable to do most work I had planned.
I would love to see you before Christmas and treat you to a London knees up! (not sure about sushi though).
xxx
Hello back to Fimble Star and Bella
*going
What is happening on f/b fimmy dude? Not been there since I got back.
Hey eliza
Hello Elena
Hope you are well.
Hello BC, Ergo and Anons
Its great to see lots of people around.
So sorry you didn't get your work dine EB37, but relaxing sounds good.
Damn the rain though, too much of it lately.
Can't wait for the London knees up.
I feel the same miss t. I have every issue except #14, but I will still keep on collecting. The series is really good so far since it started.
Knees up Mother Brown
Knees up Mother Brown
Under the table you must go
Ee-aye, Ee-aye, Ee-aye-oh
If I catch you bending
I'll saw your legs right off
Knees up, knees up
Never get the breeze up
Knees up Mother Brown
Oh my, what a rotten song
What a rotten song
What a rotten song
Oh my, what a rotten song
And what a rotten singer
Too-oo-ooh
:]
Mayo likes to paint his cock.
Miss T
Did you see the last race? My heart bled for poor Massa. I read Ferrari are returning to using a lollipop man in pit lane instead of electronics. Twas a costly lesson to learn!
finger painting is good for the soul.
hi all.
:)
Mayo has a colorful cock.
Right guys,I'm off to bed.
It was great to see you all. :D
Good night Mayo,SS,Lovelies and Nice Anons.
I'll see you tomorrow.
Take care.
Love you!
*HUGS & KISSES*
LOL, Ergo and I have not been doing much of that in last few months.
BC, can you get the #14 on ebay or something?
EB37, I saw it. Poor Massa. Poor Kimi too, he really has to stop driving into walls.
I am surprised that they didn't ditch the pitlane light system after the last time it ballsed up.
Bye Bella
Hi Anon
* squints *
A rooster? If it is, does it have Oriental origins?
Anyhow, I'm not here for art debate, just to deliver a package ( ooer Missus ).
For Giggle Fairy - here is the promised toffee apple stick, all carved. Enjoy.
* presents stick ( now a quill ), carved with trailing vines and passion flowers *
Hello All, good bye All.
TTFN
P.S. SS - That was a lovely gift for Ergo
Which is not at all.
bye bella sweet dreams, have a great rest of the week
See ya GS
Miss T, yes I can. Ebay has the power to find almost anything. Hi there anon ^_^
Goodnight Bella sweet dreams.
Goodnight GS
Hi & Bye, GS!
(Hi, EB!)
Goodnight Bella sweetie.
Hi and bye GS, too short and sweet.
EB37, go on say it, say poor kimi hahaha!
Sounds cool.
ok I'm off to work
have a great evening everyone, I'll be back for a little this afternoon before my student comes (assuming he comes)
take care all
and HI GS!
byeeeeeeeee
xx
See you later Ergo.
Hi Sis M!
Goodnight everybody.
NONE of the porchies have directly answered Amyranth's Fix.
Why would they? Was the fix directed at them?
Goodnight EB37, lovely chatting again.
You take care sweetie. nighty night.
xxx
^actually fimble star did. she said she did not agree with it.
Goodnight EB. Bye ergo.
"Anonymous said...

Bye Eliza and Ergo
Well I'm off to the dungeon for more decorations.
Back later.
See you later Elena sweetie.
British Museum pics
Let me know if this works please.
Bugger, password needed. Bum.
Hi :)
It's a lovely painting, Mayo. I'm a fan of blue.
Do you believe a change in your attitude can truly change the world around you? Or do you believe it simply changes your view and has no actual affect on the world?
Hi RW *squeeze!* how are you?
Hiya RW and substitute TODD. how are you guys?
I'll try again.
British Museum pics
The way you think alters how you perceive the world and, therefore, how you act and react. It would affect how you interact with other people and, in turn, what they got out of that interaction with you would affect how they interact with others. Even if this interaction were to be seen at the time to be short-term and relatively insignifant, the domino effect could have significant results.
So yes, I think a change in a person's attitude can change the world.
Hi, BC! :)
*SQUEEZE*
How are you today?
Pay it forward.
Ohhhhhh!!
Massive, impressive statues, Miss T!
I guess this is the King Tut exhibit at the O2?
Pay it forward.
Yes, indeed.
Nope RW. It is just the free exhibit at the British museum.
There is the Rosetta stone pictured there too. Although some pics are a little dark.
One of the big heads came from the Rammesseum.
Wow! That's a pretty impressive free exhibit!
And that's just a fraction of the Egyptain stuff RW.
There is so much more and loads of Greek and other nation's treasures.
Plus at the mo, the strange gold sculpture of kate moss with her legs behind her head. V unflattering.

O_o
I just image searched that Kate Moss statue.
Looks like a yoga birthing position.

Yup RW, it is one strange sculpture.
What were they thinking!
I had to take some tylenol to ease my headache RW, but otherwise I'm alright.
How about you?
LOL RW. What were they thinking indeed.
See you later PH sweetie. Have fun tonight. You left so quick I didn't get the chance to say goodnight.
A headache? That sucks, BC :(
I'm well, thanks :) I shall be up later tonight that I really should be.
That sounds like a cool website RW.
I hope the headache goes off BC. I hate headaches.
A friend told me about it a while ago, Miss T, but this is the first time I've used it.
It does RW
Thanks miss t
We had a programme on TV like that in the 70's called swapshop RW.
*tries to will BC's headache away*
We had something on the radio back home called Bargain Mart which was similar.
Aw RW, if you had enough boots, you could be the boot fairy.
I would love to be the boot fairy! ^_^
Making the world a happier place, one fabulous pair of boots at a time!
There, I caught up! And sub Todd, a change in attitude doesn't necessarily change the world, but it can definitely make a person feel better in general.
Hi, Carrie! :)
How are you this evening?
I'm good RW! How are you doing? I wish you were here to sew Annie's Halloween costume, because we are untalented schmucks.
Ooooo! Halloween costume! ^_^
What does she want to dress up as?
You know, for all I love costumes and love Halloween, I rarely dress up for it anymore.
That sounds like heaven RW. You have found your calling.
Hiya carrie sweetie. You have appeared as I am leaving.
So i shall say my goodnight.
Nighty night all.
♥smile♥
Have a good night, Miss T, and a good day tomorrow :)
Hi, smiley anon :)
She wants to be a Devil, and her friend is going as an Angel. Obviously my influence has taken hold. :)
Cute!!
Night Miss T!
Brr, fecking cold.
-A
the temp outside or your heart? And OMG I thought you were joking about that fucked up name, Amy!
Hi, A! :D
How's things?
Carrie, both, but it sorta balances out!
No dear, I was not joking about little Renesmee Carlie. That poor, poor child. It gets better. Check your email, I sent you some links.
Hallo RW! Things is good. Trying to decide what I want for supper tonight. How's your evening going?
-A
Not bad, A :)
I'm just kinda sitting here surfing and such!
Oh man, Amy, I am looking forward to checking those links! And I roger the other stuff too.
Sounds relaxing! I'm pretty much doing the same. I came home from work and slept for an hour unexpectedly. Now I think I'm catching a cold. :P
-A
Goodnight miss t. Hey carrie, amy.
That sucks, A >_<
Hey BC! Did you get your comics?
