My Grandma used to say "You only get so many words when you're born and once you've used them up...that's it."
She said the same thing about steps too.
"Once they're gone you don't get anymore."
Words and steps, I think she meant that they are the measure of a life.
She was a cool lady.
p.s. and in those last few moments they won't occur to you either.

How goes it?
My Grandma thinks that there are kittens and toddlers living under her bed. O_o
She is still wise, though.
Anon, you pretty much suck an entire bouquet of dicks, jumbo sized and multi flavored.
It's just a blog, shit-disturbing anons. Don't waste your words.
hello Mayo
I've heard that too, you're grandma was obviously a cool woman
and no what you have in life certainly isn't as important as what you do
WHile you're here anon, why not share with the class why you care so devoutly where Sdock may or may not work? I mean, what's your point?
Hi Mayo! Hi everyone!
Anon,
You're an ass.
I'm still at work! Boooo!!!!!
Hi, EP :)
5:56
Why do you persist with this? It is so wrong on so many levels.
You obviously have no consideration of others. If this happened to you how would you react?
Well done on the top spot, anon.
*throws big bag of fungus at you*
now, why dont you start posting something worth while like charity contact details and webpages that actually will probably be put to some use.
happy canada holiday to the canadians.
Hiya Fim! Hey Princess!
Hi, S&V :)
*tackles Fimmy*
Hi!
I iz so ready to go home!
and no ones epitaph ever reads
"wishes he worked harder"
hi K sdock RW
I see the anon is still about
Why are you throwing fungus now, Fim?
Spores. I scraped them off the tip of the fungus. It appears as if one of the spores grew inside of Tanaka until it reached reproductive maturity ... essentially outgrowing its host. But by then, it had already caused massive tissue damage, particularly to the respiratory tract.
RW, why are you here? You keep saying how much you hate this place, the anons, Mayo himself. Why do you continue coming here?
And if it's for the friends, you know there is DM.
hey guys,
I am off for the moment, going to sort princess tornado out and plus, there is some fungi smell in here. :(
Bye
Do you have a name, 5:33pm?
hi smoke and fim
you there mayo?
how are you?
everything going well?
And kindly desist from putting words into my mouth.
Was she cool like Gerard Way's grandma was cool Mayo?
Seriously? I feel bad for anyone who has that much time to waste.
Do you think they were just sitting there hitting the refresh button over and over and over?
Sad, really...
I could think of so many more productive things to do than wait around on my busy ass to post.
Mayo ---> ^_^
How ya doing?
Your ass is busy? Jesus.
Sorry she isn't around anymore, Mayo.
Mayo,
I just don't even know what to say about all this anymore.
Sorry.
Speaking of asses getting and being busy, I've got to get mine to Kung Fu. Later my dears! Mayo, nice to read ya!
You think the anons are the only ones that refresh your main page like it's their oxygen? Heh
Mulder, the human mind naturally seeks meaningful patterns and configurations in things that don't inherently have any. Given the suggestion of a particular image, you can't help but see that shape somewhere. If that tank weren't there, you'd see it in a, in a rock or in a tree...
33 at 5:40. WTF.
Okay, for real now, bye!
mayo so can I
you're well?
Hey Blogbelieve.
Mayo, nice to see you. :)
What the heck is that anon up to? I was on the old post catching up on a few things and I am so baffled by this shit.
*hugs Solly*
....
How have you all been? Per usual, I missed you guys so fucking much!
bye K enjoy!
I get to go and collect my home gym today, and I have an international parcel at the PO, that's always exciting!
other than that it is really foggy this morning
Is it her anniversary, Mayo? You should write the next album like three cheers.
Thanks for that and yeah, she was real cool.
Fucking busy as hell, but I am well and I hope that you are too.
sdock10...you want me to clean that up?
*pokes Mayo*
*sticks out hand*
Hi, I'm Shelby in case you didn't know. If you ever need some help with your property taxes, look me up. I'm so googlable.
Hi anima
how are you? Plans for your bar moving ahead?
Bye Kapunua.
Hey Ergo, Solly, Smoke, Fimblelina, and RW. :)
Awwwh, Mayo.
I am going to leave that up to you, my friend.
I hate that your stuck in the middle of this shit as usual.
Bwahahaha!
Mayo,
You make me laugh. :)
Hi Anima! Bye K!
good to hear Mayo
I'm fortunate enough to still have a cool grandma, she's 92.
and a clean up would be lovely thanks, but they'll probably just post it again
Dear Mayo,
The games you play. The games others play. Identities revealed or withheld. Rather sad, no?
I hope in your physical life you don't have to hide quite so diligently.
Be well, my silly friend.
Welp, gotta get back to work. Booooo!!!
Thanks for that, Mayo! You iz pretty cool. Sorry you get put in the middle of all this stupid shit. :(
Glad to hear that you're doing well though.
Later peeps!
XOXO
Thanks, Mayo. And again, I'm sorry for all this.
And what your Grandma said to you sounds a lot like something my Grandma would say. She's a straight shooter and will tell it like it is.
I often wonder if I've used up all my words already.
Mayo
You are a period?
well, if you want to be one, knock yourself out with it :) and thank you for your clean up.
tornado has just gone home, gonna make me tea now, lasagne yummy.
see you smoke , enjoy the rest of the day
(what time is it there?)
Here, Ergo?
It's 5:51 pm on Monday.
Fimble,
Where have you been all fucking day?
I ♥ Princess Tornado! "This Bitch Sparkles!"
Mustard, Did your puter crash on you?
Hi, Anima :)
I'm okay Ergo. Just totally stressed and beyond busy. I am not sure how I am still functioning. The bar is supposed to open tomorrow. I'm freaking out because I didn't get the health inspection scheduled. Fuck. There is so much to do!
....
Mayo, nice job on the clean-up. Looks much better.
I have been here and there solly, my grandfather was taken into hospital today, had a downfall but at least my parents are over there with him. i am just pissed that i am half the world away from him in these days.
other than that, i took tornado out for lunch today. cheered her up :)
*runs up and plants a big smoochie kiss on Anima's cheek*
Girl, I have missed you like whoaah!
p.s. and in those last few moments they won't occur to you either
never truer words Mayo
and fim what you said about the period, meant something different to me, see we generally call them full stops, as period is a "womens problem". Leading to much laughter from any student under 16, we have the same problem with rubber/eraser
Anima
Best of luck :)
Fimble,
Sorry to hear 'bout your Grandfather.
Sorry to hear about your grandpa, Fimble. Hope he's okay.
Solly, if you run out of words, I will give you some of mine. :)
In, then out, but...
It makes sense to me that only when people stop listening, do you run out of things to say.
ergo, same here. i call them full stops and i call erasers 'rubbers' to. jules always makes a joke abotu it when i type the full stop in aim, so i was kinda jopking which jules may have got lol.
i was in class once and asked my teacher for a rubber, the whole class laughed and thought i was asking my male teacher for a condom. i had to explain about the whole english/american words lol.
Fim hope your granddad is ok.
Anima it's manic isn't it! But I'm sure it'll go brilliantly, I'm wishing you all the best
(can you get it scheduled?)
WOWZA, that was one hot kiss Solly! Thanks!
Thank you Anon. That was very sweet.
Ergo, you said 'rubber.' hehe.
Mustard!!!
When people start listening, I run out of things to say. I do better I think when I think nobody is paying me any attention at all. The minute I think someone might actually be counting on my words, I CHOKE ON THEM!
Fim that is like saying I went outside in my thongs to anyone not aussie
much hilarity!
and thanks sdock, it's just 8 am tuesday here
Hi, Mustard :)
I hope he feels better soon FS.
*snigger* mustard said "in then out"
hi mustard!
Has anyone heard from MissT or GS? I want to know about their wild weekend together!!
Hiya Mustard!
Ergo, I think I'm supposed to have passed the inspection before opening. Damnit, why don't they have all the things just written down somewhere? I even fucked up the credit card machine account. Cash only for the first couple of days. Grrr, so frustrating. And yes, it is totally MANIC!!!
thank you everybody, really, thank you but i dont think he will be getting better. Just what happens in old age i guess, he has dementia (sp).
oh well, i am going to eat lasagne butties.
smell you all later :)
SS i miss you,
i needed you today to hold my door open, i have a bruised forehead. it looks pretty and purple lol.
Ergo, I sniggered too. ;) Mustard, I ♥ you!
MissT and GS went on a wild adventure together?!! I can't wait to hear all about it!!
Oohh, piccies up on MissT's blog! Niiiiiiiice!
I'm sorry Fimble. *hugs you and kisses your purple forehead*
Hiya Mayo, how are you?
Hiya everyone, how are you?
My gran used to say to me and my sis "when you are young, get your tits out as much as you like, relly enjoy them. Cos when you are my age, they aren't tits anymore, they're envelope flaps".
I really miss her.
So, wanna hear about the weekend?
OK, here goes:
Saturday I met up with Gnothi in Manchester. She is so pretty. RW told me she was and she wasn't kidding. She is so lovely too. Such a friendly person.
So, first we went to this lovely shop that sells all goth clothes. GS revealed her wonderful taste in boots and velvet jackets.
So, where shall we go to eat? Blimey, who would've thought that I'd suggest pizza hut. Oh yes we did. I have posted pics to prove that GS went to pizza hut with the pizza fiend and lived to tell the tale.
We went round the shops and found a lovely chain with a unicorn on. It had a pink horn and hooves. They didn't have purple but it was the next best thing. I shall post pics in another post. Yup PPU, we thought of you.
We thought of all of you and we talked about mayos. Unfortunately, we didn't see anything mayo like to picture.
We went into Primark and got carried away looking at the undies. We found some that said super hero on that just reminded us of SS so we both whipped out our camera. I wasn't bothered but GS felt obliged to explain that we were taking photos of pants for a reason to a little lady standing next to us. She was very sweet about it, bless her.
We went to starbucks and were rebels who had tea instead of coffee (and a lovely lemon fairy cake). GS treated me cos she is a sweetie.
Then it was time for GS to catch her train. I went to the toilets at Manchester station and was appalled to find it cost 30p to have a wee. It's bloody free in Sheffield. So, I stayed in there for ages faffing with my hair cos I wanted to get my money's worth ha ha ha!
20 mins later, my train came. Of course while I was waiting, I just had to text GS to tell her of the toilet atrocity.
I had the best time and GS is so nice. The pizza and cake was good too hee hee!
I have posted some pics if anyone fancies a gander at em.
anima do you have to delay the opening?
It's amazing what you discover you need as you do it, we were going 8 months or so when a client asked to see our Quality assurance program, we were like WTF?!
My grandmother once told me that "You have to do for yourself, because nobody else will."
A tough lesson, but a valid one.
Hallo Mayonaise!
Hallo Everyone~
-A
Hey missT sounds great and lovely pics!!
Mayo,
I'm off for a bit. I need to go feed my dogs and pack up some more of my stuff for moving this weekend.
I'm glad to hear that you are doing well and busy is good, but you have to remember to slow down every once in awhile. If you don't, you'll just burn yourself out and there's probably nothing worse than burnt out Mayo. Right? Fuck yeah, you know I'm right.
Thanks for what you did and again, I'm sorry for all the bullshit.
Hi Amy!
Hallo Ergo! How was your weekend?
-A
MissT!!! I love those pictures! I am so happy you two had such a good time together!
Ergo, I'm not sure what we are going to do. Actually I gotta get going because I need to provide the City with their letter that did not say anything about having the health certification to open. I mean, I knew I would have to get one, but we aren't serving food yet, so I figured we could get open then schedule it. And you are so right....you always find something else that you needed! It's never ending. I had to get a license for the damn pool table! WTF! All they want is money.
Well, it was so awesome talking to all of you. Mayo, it was a nice surprise to see you too. :)
Have a great day/evening and hopefully this won't be a once a week kind of catching up. I seriously miss you guys like more than I could ever explain.
♥ to all of you.
Hiya solly, smoke, Ergo, Amy, Anima, Fimble, Kapunua, Mustard, RW and Mayo (again).
How are you all?

Hiya BC, how are you sweetie?
Hi BC and congrats!!
Spooky double comment.
Hi Mayo! Nice to see you in blue. Why are you a full stop? O_o
Hi girls and guys. =)
Bye anima ♥
Hiya Amy. Hi miss T, good to see you again
I've just seen the news BC.
Congrats sweetie, I am so happy for you.
I told you you could do it.
Well done. It's great news.
Yo PP, how are you sweetie. Long time no chat, I always seem to miss you lately.
Congratulations BC, great news.
Have you considered your major?
Hi MissT!
*snogs*
I hear you. I hate these timezones, sweetie. How dare they interfere with our blogging ;)
Speaking of which I completely told SS the wrong time. 10:18 my time, apppears to be 6:18pm Mayo time.
Clocks. >_<
*groans*
Speaking of time, I have to love you and leave you, sorry.
Oh, and BC, congratulations, I see are due to your way!
Have a great evening/ day everyone.
Catch you later. =)
*snogs for PP*
Oh so brief. Well, it was lovely seeing you again.
Damn these timezones *shakes a fist*
Take care PP sweetie.
Hi pickles, how are you? Thanks Ergo :)
I'm good Miss T thanks, how are you? *hugs* I got some news that'll make you happy. I got a email this morning confirming that I got accepted at art school
Thanks 6:26, pickles :)
Anon, my major will be music business management. I have to take some accessment tests at the end of the month, and also attend orientation, which means staying in the city for 3 days at least, maybe even more.
Oops, sorry Miss T. I just saw your comment. Thank you so much. For the support and encouragement and for keeping the faith. It means a lot :)
LOL BC, I shall say again what great news that is.
You have put a smile on my face today.
*huge well done hug for bC*
oh I missed PP!
HI PP!!!!
*shouted at departing bushy tail*
Hi Anon at 6:26 you've been so nice and I don't know if anyone has said hello.
How are you?
Hi again ergo.
You are right Ergo.
I never saw you there anon, how are you?
Take care PP
I just heard about Morgan Freeman, and Christina Applegate with breast cancer.
And we had Heath Ledger, and everyone has had friends or relatives
Kinda adds the thought to Mayo's post that you may never know when either
and I saw the pics of the "Brangelina" babies on TV, and guess what? they look just like babies!
Who'd a thunk :/
♥♥
Thank you Ergo, that is very sweet.
Hello to all, and I am good :)
BC, thank you for your response. Great news. I think you will enjoy the experience immensely.
I enjoyed my college experience. And learning is a lifelong pursuit.
Who'da thunk indeed Ergo.
Are you sure that they don't give off a heavenly glow or something?
I shall take your word for it.
Yeah, I heard about those bad news stories too. It's sad, I hope they will be OK.
I hope everyone in blogland with a sick relative has some good news soon.
Yup anon, you never stop learning.
Argh.
-A
HI hearts,
are you the same anon I asked about?
Thanks for the hugs Miss T *squeeze* I forgot to say hello to 6:26. I hope you're well?
I'll be back later. Take care guys
Why Argh Amy?
See you later BC, congrats again sweetie.
oh probably not seeing as they answered
learning is such a joy, whether it be academic or practical, formal or informal, and I think if you lose interest in learning you lose some of the potential enjoyment of life
MissT I would have expected it!
But just look like normal squishy little newborns
Admittedly they aren't ugly babies, which is always a fear when you go to see a newborn
At least they are sending the money to charity as far as I know
Hiya MissT.
Just got off th phone, explaining the DRAMA WEDDING OF THE CENTURY to my friend.
-A
That's good Ergo. Cos they certainly don't need anymore money and it's wrong to use your kids to cash in.
Dare I ask Amy? What has gone wrong now?
Ignore. You are all at the moment in far too bright a mood to deal with my silliness.
But I need to say. It's so annoying when someone can see right through you, isn't it?
I'm always in the mood for silliness anon.
You're very welcome BC :)
Thank you anon :)
Miss Tottenham, every time I come on here your gentle nature never ceases to amaze me. I hope the people in your life recognize and celebrate this frequently.
Hello everyone
Hi elena
how are you feeling today?
Amy what happened?
Aw thank you anon, I am gonna blub now.
That is so nice of you to say so.
I have never seen much point in being mean to people and I hope that I can influence others to feel the same way.
Hiya Elena, how are you sweetie?
MissT, here's the story.
Mister's cousin got engaged. He and his wife decided that they did not want infants at the wedding. Invitations were sent out.
One cousin had a baby, got her invitation, and decided to not attend.
A couple of weeks later, she sent a NASTY and vile email to the Bride, saying among other things that she was a cruel bitch, and that she hoped her wedding was cursed.
Cut to this week, where this cousin has since been convinced by other members of the groom's extended family to go to the wedding.
(A little sidenote, all the cousins in Mister's generation are extremely close. The parents of these cousins are even closer)
So, she comes to the wedding, baby in tow. There are plenty of babies, scattered across both sides of the family. Nothing is said to anyone.
Later, at the reception, the cousin with the baby shows up and is hunted down by a bridesmaid and told that she "should get her skanky ass out of here before we call the cops on you" because they now see her as a wedding crasher.
CUE THE LLAMA!
*FIRE AND BRIMSTONE*
Mister's mother threatens to leave, so do 3 of her sisters and their families. Meanwhile, the bride and the groom are both in tears because of all the shouting, yelling and ZOMG BABIES AREN'T ILLEGAL that's going on.
So, when all is said and done, one Uncle, his wife and the cousin with the baby left. Everyone else stayed, and I got an entire bottle of wine to myself.
However, AFTER THE WEDDING.
MORE DRAMA!!! EVERYONE, GET YOUR LLAMAS!
The conversation starts up at Mister's mother's about the situation and how it was handled. It leaves Mister's brother's girlfriend butthurt because it was said, and agreed that any wedding that doesn't allow children is a marriage that won't be supported.
(I was in bed sleeping off my hangover, so I missed this.)
Aiyiyiyi.
Hey Ergo and MissT - I'm feeling a little better today. But not really. I can't describe how I feel. I think it's because I spent the day at the Pediatric Hospital with my youngest. The doctors still aren't sure how to help her so they are trying a different medicine. I don't know I just feel drained. I sat there looking around at these kids who were really sick. (Many have cancer) and I could see the desperation in their parent’s eyes. I can't begin to imagine what that must be like. I wanted to cry. Then I started to hate myself for ever whining about things in my life. I guess when you see things like that it makes you take a step back and realize how truly blessed you are and at the same time wonder why. I don't think I'm explaining this at all right.
OH MY GOD!!!
people are just idiots when it comes to weddings!
we asked for no kids at the wedding (not ceremony but reception), and many of our friends have also, (very young babies are an exception as they need feeds etc), mainly because they a) get bored b) may (in really bad cases) misbehave c) need to be catered for and constantly attended to by their parents who d) are usually very happy to have a night out without them
I tell you weddings bring out the worst in people,
glad you got a bottle of wine and slept through the last bit.
How awful for the bride and groom, so much for their happy day
and cousin with email should be ashamed of herself
Oh dear Amy.
It sounds like you were better off in the company of the wine.
Weddings eh? You have to have the obligatory punch up. It's the law apparantly.
Anyway, Mister's brother's girlfriend is now all sore because of the whole "No kids = Nobody showing up to your wedding you h0r".
She says to me "Oh, I just KNOW there's gonna be drama when me and him get married because I am NOT having kids at my wedding, and I am NOT converting to Catholicism."
Meanwhile, I'm thinking, "Honey, you are NOT ready to be married then."
Don't get me wrong, Bride's Big Day and all that jazz, but if you can't compromise on some things, then when will you ever compromise on anything? And I don't think she really realizes how much family means to these boys, because she then said "And you know, I can't STAND to be around his niece. She's such a whiny, needy, controlling little brat. I always feel like I'm in competition with her!"
*facepalm*
-A
elena I know exactly what you mean.
So many of those kids have such strength and character in the face of their illnesses too.
You do wonder why it needs to be for those so young, and it makes you see your own life differently and how lucky you really are
Elena??
What happened with your daughter? Is she alright?
-A
Hi, Elena.
The passion that you try to keep bottled up... that overwhelming wave of pure emotion that you build dams around in order to survive...
I am sorry you have to do that. But I believe there will be a time when that passion will have a chance to be unbridled and let out.
Ergo, precisely. The other thing is that kids at receptions are very hard to control. Lots of running, screaming, cake and sugar does not make for a good evening.
When I get married, I plan to find a hall that has a basement, or a lounge area where we can set the kids up with their own food, movies and stuff to do. It's a small price to pay.
Even that, I'm having a late reception, probably around 9pm or something so it cuts down on a lot of children.
-A
If she feels she needs to have kids at the wedding to avoid drama,(llama) allow them to the ceremony and then try and find a reception area with an extra room available and hire responsible teens and supply a dvd and TV and kids stuff and set it up as a sort of kids room. It's extra expense but it may help prevent dramas (and llamas)
Hey Elena, you have every right to be worried and to fuss. You can't put yourself up against others who have things worse than you.
We all have our own situations that we have to deal with. And no one can tell you that it isn't as important as someone elses.
hey amy! great minds!!
older kids aren't too bad 8 or 9 up, my daughter was 4 when my brother married and she ended up asleep under the table, it depends on the kids but they do lessen the enjoyment for the parents, especially if there is more than one, I was lucky we had doting grandma to take her off our hands a lot
Amy, that sounds like a good idea.
Anyway, sometimes the kids make things funny. Yes, I do watch you've been framed.
missT that is very true, dealing with your own problems isn't lessened by knowing others are worse off. It helps sometimes to put things in perspective , in a "don't sweat the small stuff" way, like the 2 glasses of wine anon said, the golf balls are the important bits. And your golf balls are your own to deal with in the best way you possible can
Being empathetic is really two edged
I understand what you are trying to say Elena. Seeing those kids may put some things in perspective for you, but you should never consider your feelings inappropriate.
Amy I am lost for words. I suppose every couple has the right to have the wedding they want, however the way you deal with family, and their family is another issue altogether.
I apologize, Mayo, for my contribution to the drama at your place today. I'm sure you can understand my frustration at the repetativeness & sheer meanness of the attacks, but I shouldn't have let it get to me.
I also apologize for any time I've aimed a dig at you or dissed your blog. I still have trust issues regarding the motives of anonymous blog owners, but it is your blog after all and how you run it is your business.
And now... Hi, all :)
Anon,
Do I know you? You sound so very familiar.
Hi again everyone! I have 20 minutes to go!
Thanks for the kind words guys (and anon).
I guess I just get so angry at myself because I think that I should be happier than I am. I have three wonderful daughters, I still have my mom, I have some wonderful friends and a husband who's really trying to understand me. And yet..it's like I'm still searching for more and that just seems wrong. Why can't I just be happy with my life? What the fuck is wrong with me?
2 anons here smoke.
I hope everything is okay, Elena.
That's the fallacy of your argument, Elena.
Absolutely nothing is wrong with you.
Your body and your mind are telling you and your needs are changing.
It can really suck, but recognize and embrace it. Listen to what you are trying to tell yourself. The answer may be simpler than you believe.
Hi RW, how are you sweetie?
Waves to both anons, I get easily confused.
Ummm, well, damn. Yeah, well, one of you sounds very familiar.
7:05.
That one. :)
Countdown for smoke:
20,19,18 etc.
Anyhoo!
Hi MissT!!! Loved the pics!
Hi RW!
Hi Amy!
Hi anyone else that's here!
Okay, gotta go.
Byeeee!!!
Hi again, Miss T :)
Hi & bye, S&V! :)
I shall getchoo sumfin' sparkly tomorrow!
I agree with 7:41, it sounds that some part of you is dissatisfied with something, yet you have not identified it yet, or not ready to face it.
Hello Elena, EP, A, anons :)
A, that wedding sounded like a nightmare!
Hi smoke Hi RW
well said 7:41
nothing wrong, I think most people feel that way, it drives us on to discovery, it just takes a while
(I've been looking over a year and it's slowly falling into place, but I still feel there is more)
Fank u smoke.
I agree with 7:41, it sounds that some part of you is dissatisfied with something, yet you have not identified it yet, or not ready to face it.
I think you have a very good point. I've found over the years that the times when I'm unhappy are generally the times when some changes need to be made in my life.
Good evening Mayo.
Good evening Everyone.
Mayo - wise words my friend.
BC - many, many congratulations.
Changes are difficult for anyone. Whether they are positive or negative.
Yo GS babes. How are you?
Hi, GS :)
Glad to hear you and Miss T had a good time! :) And... love the hero pants!
I just don't understand myself at all. Most of my life I always thought that if I just lost weight I would be happy. I hated the way I looked. So I did. Now I've lost probably a bit more than I should and I'm still trying to lose more cause I'm still not happy with the person I see in the mirror. I keep changing my hair, I keep getting tattoos. I keep tying to change thinking it will make me happy but it doesn't. What is wrong with me is on the inside, I get that now but I don't know what to do. This is all on me and I feel so lost. I feel selfish that I just can't be happy with what I have. And I really need to shut up now. Sorry.
Hellooo Foggy. I iz fine fank you. Are you okay?
RW - the pants were perfect. We were chatting to the lady near us and I was like " You'll have something to talk about when you get home tonight. It's not every day you can tell the hubby that some weird women were photographing knickers "
elena have you tried meditation?
not going all mystic on you or anything, but sometimes life goes on around us so fast and we always focus on what's outside us that we fail to hear that still small voice, we do what we think is right, but we keep missing the point
If you look into just relaxation techniques and how to stop your mind and focus inwards you may find what's missing, or at least find the beginning of the path towards it
I iz good fanks GS.
It was so funny when you whipped your camera out and I was like "yeah, me too".
It's not selfish at all, Elena. And it's totally understandable. I go through moments like that too, and it's frustrating when you know something needs to be changed, but you don't know what or how.
When I get to an impass like that I've found that the best way for me to resolve it is to ignore the rational part of my brain for the moment and go entirely by feel. Don't think of any changes in terms of practicality, think in terms of how it makes you feel. I may not have explained that very well but you get the gist, yes?
hello GS!!
and now I must depart
I have been aMUSEing myself while getting ready to go to town and now to the dying strains of Knights of Cydonia I must take my leave of the Lovelies and Casa de Mayo.
Have a lovely evening and hope you all have a great Tuesday if you go before I'm back.
I shall return ...
YOIKS AND AWAY!!!!!!
GS: HAHA! ^_^
Have a good day, EP! :)
Elena - when you stop looking is the day you will find yourself.
RW - we gotz you some funky nail varnish and some princess ice cube trays for Smoke and also some chocolate lip gloss for EVERYBODY!
Ergo - hello and goodbye :)
Miss T - it was a must do.
OOOOOO!! Lovely, GS! ^_^ Ta!
See you later Ergo.
ha ha ha GS, it sure was. must do it again some time. maybe I wwill take the camera next time I go pants shopping.
Elena,
Our external appearance forms part of our identity. However it does not substitute the identity we have formed of ourselves in our minds.
I think you are cognitively speaking to yourself in very negative ways. You really need to challenge this, as it is effecting your sense of self.
You are not selfish. Negative thinking tends to go round in circles.
RW - you're welcome :)
Miss T - I tried that corset with my new coat for the wedding, it looked weird :(. Never mind, I shall continue looking.
Corset?
That's a shame GS. Though I'm sure it looked just great and you are too fussy.
Thank you all for listening to me. It was really just a very shitty day and I'm sorry I brought it here. I will take all of your words and give them some thought.
Thank you all for caring.
Anytime Elena. Everyone needs to vent about their feelings.
Miss T and GS, have you guys ever been into the shop Fairy Gothmother in London?
No worries, Elena :)
ooooooo no I haven't RW. Where is it exactly?
♥ = Elena = ♥
Whoa, sorry about that, my computer went kablooey.
Elena - that's what we are here for :)
Miss T - no, honestly it did look weird. Too pale against the red of the coat.
RW - I bought a red wine velvet brocade coat from a charity shop and I'm going to wear it for a wedding. I want to wear separates with it and I have a funky corset that I could have maybe gotten away with but it was a no go.
Is that shop in Camden?
I don't know where Camden is. The shop is near Brick Lane.
Your coat sounds fabulous!! Do you have a pic?
Fairy Goth Mother
It's a fabulous shop, Miss T. I came across it quite by accident when i was in Brick Lane one day.
RW - no, nowhere near each other. I just Googled it. So the answer is a no then :)
And I can't get it to come out the right colour in a picture ( already tried to do it for someone else ). It comes out all purpley.
Oooooooo cool RW. Thanks for the link.
We'll have to go there next Gnothi.
We shall Miss T. London is but a skip and a jump for me :)
Miss T, are you still thinking of moving to London?
I hope so RW. Maybe after I have done this course.
Do you often skip and jump your way there GS?
Mayo is having his period
GS, I am thinking of coming back to London for another trip in May or June of next year. Perhaps you, Miss T & I can meet up?
LOL anon. Is he PMSing.
That's actually kind of funny, 8:48pm.
Yes Miss T. I skip to the station and jump on the train ;)

Well gosh, anon, for you to have known the time difference between when Mayo was on and when I noticed, you must have been refreshing the front page, too. I was, like many people probably were. I do that around the 4th or 5th day, and sure, partly because I'm eager to see if Mayo posts anything.

Seriously? I feel bad for anyone who has that much time to waste.
Do you think they were just sitting there hitting the refresh button over and over and over?
Sad, really...
I could think of so many more productive things to do than wait around on my busy ass to post.
