As any good poem will do, I was moved to another place. Taken back to a day long ago when I was twelve, no maybe eleven, and had spent a good portion of the afternoon alone foraging around in the yard. Aside from some awkward social issues, I was content (even the social issues contented me because it gave me the excuse to be alone). So that particular day, standing in my yard, breathing in the warm fresh air of spring, I recall being rained upon by helicopters. I collected them all in a box, or perhaps it was a bucket, and climbed my favorite tree as high as I could and re-released them to the ground. It was my intention to allow them a second flight, to once again be aloft.
It is amazing how similar we are, humans. Inhale (I’m), exhale (here). At the very core we exist, our attempts to make our lives enjoyable or in some instances passable should be worthy. Take it in, the amazing, the simple, the meaningful and give it away, just the same.
As I have said (and as some have speculated) I am privileged to have a few places to spout off (last count...Three, “oh lucky me.”). Of course, some of my words were never intended to be read by anyone other than the one I wrote them for and in some cases no one at all. These places have never intersected, until now. I have been reminded to rip myself open. So, I have gathered up these words for a second flight.
Her fingers weave through my hair
And her breath is a reminder (that I breathe)
In and out, slow and almost silent
I'm

Her evening promise
brings me rest.
When I wake, whenever that may be
I can tell her anything
and she believes
And I understand
the weight of trust.
She begs me for more,
more anything, more everything
and I oblige, within reason
I can give endlessly
and she will return the favor.
She is at once present
and future entwined
For years in the making
and each moment a step
closer to letting go.

«Oldest ‹Older 5201 – 5400 of 7161 Newer› Newest»Goodnight TJ, and good luck with Medicare! I can commiserate with you; that's the insurance choice you have when you're on disability. YAY. :P
J
Didn't say you weren't, Anon, just cryptic! :D You're in the right place for THAT. How're you doing?
J
Ergo, did you guys get the original Battlestar Galactica in Australia?
When we started this band
All we needed, needed was a laugh
Years gone by...
I'd say we've kicked some ass
When I'm enraged
Or hittin' the stage
Adrenaline rushing
Through my veins
And I'd say we're still kickin' ass
Ooo, ahh, kickstart my heart
Hope it never stops
And to think, we did all of this...
To rock
Goodnight TJ, sweet dreams. Hello anon.
Congrats Ergo :)
anon we did with apollo and starbuck
it was better than the new one, and I shall admit I watched the A team tuesday
Hello again
I'm back, the music is loud and I'm riding the storm out....
Our friend J2, I'll call her, has a crush on Mary McDonnell from the new BG. *shrugs* She's ok, but doesn't do anything for me.
I always liked Dirk Benedict, the original Starbuck. He was a cutie.
J
Hey Elena! Alone again, or did the daughters make it home?
J
Hi elena. You're having storms too?
i mean with dirk benedict & lorne greene
Only one daughter here tonight and she's asleep. Of course she might yell at me in a minute to turn the music down...
Crap, I get yelled at by my kids to turn the music down....
J i agree, i liked both of them
BC
So far just thunder. Got a feeling they are on the way.
Yeah Ergo, both were pretty easy on the ol' eyes...not Lorne Green, though. I can only see him as Paw Cartwright from "Bonanza".
Elena, the irony is not lost on me. :D Is it the same one who likes MSI?
J
Yep J
The one who likes MSI.
Probably. We're going through some strong ones right now and a little bit of rain. I think we're supposed to get some hail too. They been going on for almost two hours now :/
gotta go titoring calls
bye all!
Talk to you later Ergo
Tomorrow I venture out to get supplies for your next package.
Goodnight Ergo, have fun titoring!
J *just likes to say "titoring"*
So, Elena, next time she cranks up the MSI noise, you can say, "Look, if you can play your CDs that loud, I can play MY CDs LOUDER, cause I'm the MOM!" And then stick your tongue out at her like this: :P.
J
Goodnight Ergo
I always liked Dirk Benedict, the original Starbuck. He was a cutie.
I liked Richard Hatch. Apollo rocked my preteen world!
Oh noes, wandered away for a bit. Have fun with the titoring, Ergo. I think the new BG is better, mostly, sometimes it gets a bit bogged down. But, Dirk Benedict and Richard Hatch were so the hotness. They were on my walls.
I had mostly Duran Duran on my walls, for a very very long time. Simon le Bon-Bon, yummy.
J
Space hunk!
Hi RW *squeeze*
Hi, BC :) *squeeze!*
I am all baffed and smelling nice!
Even though I liked BG, I always thought it was the biggest Star Wars rip-off. Even at that age, whatever that was, 12, 13? Who knows.
I barely remember being that age.
I also liked Parker Stevenson from "The Hardy Boys". Prettiest blue eyes I'd seen, at that time of my life.
J
He's not that bad looking RW
I also liked the blond guy from CHiPs.
You remember when a Richard Hatch was on "Survivor"? Before I saw him, I thought it was the actor and not just some guy.
Hey RW, didn't say hello again to you, sorry! *sniffs the air* You DO smell nice!
J
He was in his early 30s when that pic was taken, BC. He's now 63 years old! 0_0
Oh, yeah, Parker with the eyes, but I was allll about the Shaun. I was so caught in a Teen Dream.
J
You know that's not a bad idea. I swear to God some of that MSI music gets stuck in my head and I can't get it out...
Thank you, J :D It's my pink candy baff bomb.
Elena:
I'm so sorry. I've heard some of it, too, and personally cannot abide it, but hey, that's why there's more than one band out there...
Play your oldest, least-cool CD at top volume, see what she does. heeheehee
Gads, I'm evil.
APOLLO IS 63??!!! Holy fuck. Well, SImon's gonna be 50 this October, so...
Anon, Shaun was TOO cute for me. Plus, he's blond. I much prefer brunets. :)
J
Starbuck's 63 too.
Does... not... compute...
Oh, man, Shaun was kinda goofy looking! He just had ways though.
Oooh, I almost forgot!
PJ left a couple comments on our blog, with message requests.
Mayo, she said it's ok that you didn't say HI to her, but...
"Any way, tell Mayo....IM FUCKEN MAD HE DID NOT SAY HI !!!!!"
(She assured us it was a joke, but, well, you never know...)
And then this:
"Tell toujours, faraway, GS, MissT,
Tristion, ergo, pickled, and anyone else i might have missed the other night, that i miss them as well."
So there you go. Everyone remember to say HI PJ! when you're here, it reminds her of home.
Thanks!
J
And I am so gonna be pulling out that vinyl tomorrow, and crying old woman emo tears.
Speaking of yesterday's hearthrobs, I think GW's new haircut makes him look like Donny Osmond.
HI PJ!! Day late and a dollar short, as usual.
J
Oldest, least cool CD? I don't have any uncool CD's.
Okay maybe I could crank "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"
*hides face* I love that song but hey I've read so much about the topic I can't help it.
Oh my god, Elena, I have that song on my iPod!
*sniggers at the comment made by RW*
Gordon Lightfoot for the win! And yeah, Rw, now that you say that, it's definitely an Osmond, or possibly Defranco vibe going on there.
RW, he's in his sixties? Yikes O_O
Anon I love you. Gordon Lightfoot for the win indeed.
Have you read all about the wreck? You really should. Interesting stuff.
Well, Elena, you'll just have to go buy one if you don't have one.
I liked that song when it first came out, I'm not ashamed to tell it. It's a...tad long, but whatever. I'm thinking maybe bluegrass or something. :P
Or disco of any sort. Double :P.
Anon, emo tears are sometimes very cleansing. :D Just don't cry on my DD posters!
RW, I thought GW's long hair--before he got the fringy kind of cut--made him look like Joey Ramone. (Sorry, GW, I know he wasn't pretty, even unconventionally so, but man, you gotta cop to it.)
J
Yes, I have. I regularly go to a restaurant that has all sorts of stuff they have recovered from The Great Lakes. It's kind of fascinating.
Well, Elena, you'll just have to go buy one if you don't have one.
I recommend Bay City Rollers greatest hits.
*has that on her iPod too*
serious RW?
oh J
It is not a tad long it is perfect.
Okay, I'll admit I could get out a Culture Club CD and drive her crazy. Damn I'll have to find the picture I have of myself dressed for one of their concerts. I was totally rocking the Boy George look!
I am, anon. It's not something I'm proud of!
Or anything by Barry Manilow. Or the Carpenters. Or Willie Nelson. Or Milli Vanilli.
J
I'll Tumble 4 Ya!
And ha, ops, all those peoples are representing on my iPod. Sad, for real!
Of Lord I'm listening to Christmas music right now....
My iTunes is on shuffle and I'm listening to MCR doing "All I Want For Christmas."
Damn I love when Gerard does that one part when he sorta gets all quiet and whispers.
S-A-TUR-DAY NIGHT!
Milli Vanilli.
I have to admit it, but I like one of their songs *bows head in shame*
Sorry, got carried away there.
I loved the Bay City Rollers. Woody was mine but yeah, Eric had bedroom eyes.
Blame it on the rain (rain)
Blame it on the stars (stars)
I ♥ CULTURE CLUB!
Boy was so fucking bizarre, but he was the bomb. I read his autobiography, man, that was great. He said that he and Jon, the short, dark guy in the band, had an affair that was off and on--mostly when Jon didn't have a woman. But then, Jon wouldn't ever admit to it, even though he was supposedly the one that kept it going. Hmm...
Elena, I want to see your pics!
RW,. I loved the BCR! (Hey, change one letter, and who do you get? Mmm-hmm, that's right. I think I see a pattern here.) "I Only Want to Be With You" was my all-time favorite song. They did some good stuff! I know Ergo likes them too.
J
Kickstart my heart
Give it a start
Ooh, yeah, baby
Ooh, yeah
Kickstart my heart
Hope it never stops
Ooh, yeah, baby
Hope it never stops
I liked Woody too :)
I actually had to google Bay City Rollers. Scottish. Figures.
That's Sco-ish, if you're actually Scottish, they so don't know what a T is.
J
I will try to find the pic. It is so funny...
Yeah I've read Boy George's book.
Blame it on the rain. Nah, I think it's a terrible song. I like Girl you know it's true.
I also like She's a maniac. Stupid song. I listen to it when I need some cheese in my life.
I must take my nice anon butt to bed now. Have a nice rest of the night, guys. *wanders off down the hall wearing Ergo fan club hat with cool LEDs in the brim*
Elena, when you said Eric had bedroom eyes, I kinda was reminded of this song
With these hungry eyes
One look at you and I cant disguise
Ive got hungry eyes
Les was my man, who knows why.
Anon, bless your heart, you've admitted to it and that's admirable. It's ok, just let it out. *hands Anon a tissue* BC, you too, honey, it's all right. Nobody's perfect.
J's Embarrassing Secret Music Likes: Celine Dion's Christmas CD. And George Michael.
But I have much cooler music to make up for those little slips.
One other confession:
I LOVE DEAN MARTIN. Not HIM, per se, but his voice.
J
Night, anon :)
Oh anon you didn't know the Bay City Rollers?
Come on and I was in love with you for a minute there.
They got their name from sticking a pin in the map of America. It landed on Bay City MI
Dean Martin is da bomb!
Goodnight, Nice Anon with Weird Taste in Music! We had fun tonight, come back and see us again!
"Hungry Eyes", Eric Carmen, circa 1980-something. Cheese galore!
J
Hahaha J, thank you *takes tissue, dabs eyes with it*
Goodnight anon, sweet dreams!
I like ain't that a kick in the head by Dean Martin. Also some Bobby Vinton and Tony Bennett.
I absolutely love I only have eyes for you by The Flamingos.
Then there's "Hungry Like the Wolf," and the line from "Why Can't I Be You?"
*J is thinking of "hungry" songs now*
I've been meaning to tell you
I've got this feelin that won't subside
I look at you and I fantasize
You're mine tonight
Now I've got you in my sights
CHORUS:
With these hungry eyes
One look at you and I can't disguise
I've got hungry eyes
I feel the magic between you and I
I want to hold you so hear me out
I want to show you what love's all about
Darlin tonight
Now I've got you in my sights
Now I've got you in my sights
With these hungry eyes
Now did I take you by surprise
I need you to see
That you were meant for me
(Ha ha!)
Dark in the city, night is a wire
Steam in the subway, earth is a fire
Do-do do do, do do do, do do do, do do do, do do
Woman you want me, give me a sign
And catch my breathing even closer behind
Do-do do do, do do do, do do do, do do do, do do
In touch with the ground
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
Smell like I sound, I'm lost in a crowd
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Straddle the line, in discord and rhyme
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
Mouth is alive with juices like wine
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Stalked in the forest, too close to hide
I'll be upon you by the moonlight side
Do-do do do, do do do, do do do, do do do, do do
High blood drumming ony our skin it's so tight
You feel my heat, I'm just a moment behind
Do-do do do, do do do, do do do, do do do, do do
In touch with the ground
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
Scent and a sound, I'm lost and I'm found
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Strut on a line, it's discord and rhyme
I howl and I whine I'm after you
Mouth is alive all running inside
And I'm hungry like the wolf
-
(Hungry like the wolf
Hungry like the wolf
Hungry like the wolf)
Burning the ground I break from the crowd
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
I smell like I sound, I'm lost and I'm found
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Strut on a line, it's discord and rhyme
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
Mouth is alive with juices like wine
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Burning the ground I break from the crowd
I'm on the hunt I'm after you
Scent and a sound, I'm lost and I'm found
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Strut on a line, it's discord and rhyme
I howl and I whine I'm after you
Mouth is alive all running inside
And I'm hungry like the wolf...
Thanks for those, Hungry Anon. The lyrics are great, but the music could've been better, don't you think so?
Dean Martin and Tony Bennett FTW! I LOVE their music. I have Dean's Christmas CD (at least I THINK I still have it), and I used to have one by Tony. I DO have one by Luther Vandross, and I also have two by Brian Setzer (OH YEAH!), one by Cyndi Lauper, and a compilation one from the '80s. It's gots da Ramones on it, yeah!
J
Hell I can't listen to "Hungry Like a Wolf" without thinking of Diane Downs.
Points to the first person who knows who that is and why.
Woman who killed her kids.
Or attempted to kill her kids. Her daughter died, and her son is disabled.
Anon, you're killin' me, you know that? That's my favorite DD song. One of my Top Five Favorite Songs of All Time, as a matter of fact. :) Thank you!
J
Gaah, I just read Elena's and RW's comments, and then mine, and I sound really heartless...
I DON'T MEAN IT! I'M SORRY!
Tell us the story, please, Elena.
J
My favorite Tony Bennett song is Rags to Riches and I like My Girl by the Temptations. Lots of oldies music as well.
RW, what happened?
Yeah RW
Actually she killed one daughter, the other daughter survived and the son is crippled.
All because the guy she wanted was married and said he didn't want kids. The world can be a sick place.
With Diane Downs? She's a woman who was accused of & imprisoned for killing her daughter and attempting to kill her son in her car one night.
I guess I should say "allegedly" tried to kill her childred, as she has denied guilt.
Oh and that song was playing on the car stereo when she shot them.
Diane Downs
Oh and the day it happened she'd bought a unicorn statue because it was a sign of love and hope for them.
very sad
Ok, now I remember her. L reads all of Ann Rule's books, so that struck a nerve after I saw the article.
I read a biography about Andrea Yates, the woman who drowned her five kids. That is one sad lady, let me tell you.
J
Oh yeah, I remember reading about her long ago. She has a resemblance to Princess Diana, from what I read.
What a stupid bitch to have to try to kill her kids just to serve her selfish needs.
Just one more reason not to like unicorns.
J
BC, A psychopath cannot relate to the suffering of others, and has no idea of what empathy is.
Too true, Anon, from what I remember from the book, she never thought she was doing anything wrong. Susan Smith also comes to mind.
J
Definitely true anon.
Well, we've stopped the blog. Time to talk about something pleasant again!
Anyone have any suggestions?
J
My thoughts on Andrea Yates. Her husband was just as guilty. He knew she was mentally ill yet he let her stay with those children.
He knew she'd tried to commit suicide. He knew yet he turned a blind eye.
Now he's happily remarried.
Same with the woman in Kansas "Bitter Harvest" is the book by Ann Rule. She was the doctor who set fire to her house and killed her children. Her husband knew she was disturbed. She had tried to poison him for God's sake yet he left his children with her while he continued on with his life and a new girlfriend. Tell me he's not guilty.
J, how about stripping?
Yes, Andrea's husband also knew what combo of anti-depressants worked the best for her, and when one of her doctors changed her meds, he didn't come forward and say, "Hey, change those back!"
He also didn't monitor her med schedule. He left her to dose herself. Sometimes she wouldn't take any of them. Plus, she had a history of depression, since her teens, and had been hospitalized before.
She did NOT need to have children. I feel sorry for her, and blame a lot of it on him.
J
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! BC, you just made my night! That was so funny!
SURE! Let's talk about stripping. Who do you want to see strip, BC?
J
BC are you advocating just talking about it, or actually doing it?
BC: 0_0
You know, strippers DO make good money...
J
you mean pole dancers?
But where do they put their tips, that's what I want to know!
Or "inspirational dancers and performance artists".
on their itsy bitsy g-string
J,
Let's see....George Bush.
Anon, no, I was agreeing with what you said that the criminal mind cannot relate to others because they usually lack empathy or consideration for others.
RW, I'm afraid we may already know the answer to THAT question!
POLE DANCERS. Oh man, that's...oh man. Must...control...dirty thoughts...
J
RW, I find pole dancers more "inspiring"
Hey guys my computer is being a little shithead again. I better post my goodnight to Mayo before it completely craps out. Catch you all tomorrow.
It's not so bad RW. When I was in Vegas, I took a picture with one of them half-naked Chippendale dancers ^_^
Anon: "more inspiring" for WHAT? heeheehee
BC, please don't tell me you want to see George Bush strip. Even my MIND'S eye would go blind from that! :P
J
Goodnight Elena, sweet dreams
Have a good night, Elena :)
Goodnight Elena, talk to you tomorrow! Be careful in the storm; don't fall through that trapdoor!
J
Hahaha, no J, I was only kidding ^_^
"more inspiring" visual artists J ^_~
they say that pole dancing is the new "cardio" fitness routine.
Mayo
So how’s life treating you? I hope today was good for you with no pissy mood moments. To tell you the truth I had several of those today. I’m not even sure why. I mean really the stuff that pissed me off was the same crap I deal with everyday but for some reason today it just set me off. I hate when that happens. I really do try to be nice. Okay, I guess getting a bill from Sprint for over $400 made me cranky. When I called customer service I tried my best to be nice. I told the guy straight up that I was going to try really hard not to be pissy with him. I think the word “pissy” might have thrown him. His grasp of the English language wasn’t the best. He repeated the word and I laughed then changed it to angry. That seemed to make more sense to him. Oh and by the way I don’t owe that much. Sprint once again messed up my bill. They had two lines for phone I don’t own listed on the bill. An hour later it was finally resolved. That battle was just one of many today. It was one of those days. Ever notice when one of those days starts it just keeps going and going? Computer acts up, phone messed up, car didn’t want to start, daughter can’t understand why she can’t stay out until 3 am, ect, ect, ect….oh and the dog ate my package of comics for Things From Another World. Yeah, Jake totally ate my comics. I should have just thrown up my hands and said, “I surrender.”
Maybe that’s the answer. Maybe some days we should just throw up our hands and say “I surrender.” It’s better than fighting about shit that really isn’t earth shattering. Just accept the bad shit and drive on. Of course I’m driving on to tomorrow, which I’m hoping will be better. Yeah, I’m totally being Pollyanna here but really what else can we do? At the very core we exist, out attempts to make out lives enjoyable or in some instances passable should be worthy.. Yeah, ain’t that the truth. This is my life, fucked up as it is, it’s mine and I love it.
Night Mayo
Elena ($150.00 in text messages? Shit I know I text a lot but really)
*wonders if Anon knows any songs about stripping*
*wonders how much it would take to have pole installed in room at the Castle*
*wonders if Mayo would actually pay for it*
J
don't give him ideas J
How about anything by Billy Idol? I love him
Don't usually have to, Anon! He does fine coming up with them himself...
*wonders if SS would pay for it instead*
J
what sort of music would you "pole dance" to?
they say that pole dancing is the new "cardio" fitness routine.
And is, apparantly, "empowering to women".
*wonders how gyrating & sliding oneself around a big metal phallus is empowering to women*
I'm back and remmeber why I hated boys in yr 9 maths classes, thank god I only have one of them this time!
*sheesh*
I think I may need a scothch
goodnight my fan anon :)
hi other anon J BC RW and elena again
strippers huh?
well I am inspired by the way they can move I suppose........ a bit..........in private.....
but I really think they are being run out of business by all the free stuff about
*ergo watched a bit of a Wild On episode last night O_O ©RW*
Billy Idol, what a dude he was. "Dancing With Myself" was my favorite Idol song; I always suspected the meaning behind that one. My sister used to think "Eyes Without a Face" said "How's About a Date?" instead.
J
hmmm...can be a teeny bit cold between the girl bits, RW ^_^
Hi, EP :D
REBEL YELL!!!!!!
*lip curl*
Indeed, anon!
Brrr!
Haha J. I love eyes wuthout a face. That's one of my favorite ballads. I love Sweet Sixteen too. And of course, White Wedding and Rebel Yell.
Hiya Ergo
Ergo, that's a great song to slide up and down to on the pole, *smirks*
more, more, more
Hi Ergo!
"Between the girl bits": Not after you rub up and down it, Anon. Warms right up, I'd imagine!
Music to pole dance to? Never thought about it, actually. Let's see...Velvet Revolver would be good for that, I guess. "House of Wolves" sounds kind of pole-dancy, too. Don't know, I'll have to think on it.
*wonders why Anon wants to know*
J
Rebel Yell is a great album.
Anon, my pole dancing song would be Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell
Oh I actually sorted my vinyl last night (albums, not the *ahem* other stuff hehe)
and I have compilations from 1968 to 1986 or so
yep pick a daggy song and I probably have it
along with abba, bucks fizz, BCR ,kate bush ,peter framptonm nolan sisters, and I have a picture disc of Robert Palmer (with simply irrisistable album) I wonder if that may actually be worth, amongst other oldies but goodies something
RW, it is :)
anonymous said...
hmmm...can be a teeny bit cold between the girl bits, RW ^_^
I was actually thinking a bit squeaky and grippy
Stripping has become such a spastic display. Long gone are the days of slow, langourous moves. Everyone wants everything in such a hurry now, even erotic entertainment.
I would totally pole dance to Poison by Alice Cooper
Ergo: Robert Palmer! *gasp* He's one of my dudes. A picture disc? I'm jealous.
"Addicted to Love" would be a good pole-dancy song. Just sayin'.
Course, a lot of his stuff is good for, uh, other related activities, if you get what I'm saying. *wink wink*
J
just started checking out some B Idol on youtube. What about Flesh for Fantasy?
Face to face
And back to back
You see and feel
My sex attack
Sing it
Flesh, flesh for fantasy
We want
Flesh, flesh for fantasy
Anon, that's a good one, probably better for a, uh, "private" session. ;)
What song would YOU pole-dance to?
J
Anon, yeah that sounds like a good title for pole dancing. Poison by Alice Cooper rocks too.
RW, what you just said just gave me the idea of having my future spouse be my own personal stripper. All I need is some oil, a g-string, a private room, and my complete undevided attention.
Best part will be that I don't have to pay him or share him haha
Don't tell me I scared you, Anon. C'mon, don't be shy. We're all friends here. We told you our choices, you can tell us yours, right?
J
What about Girls, girls, girls
New Anon: for you, or us?
J
no sure J, but I would try to make a great selection ;)
I just started listening to this
A human heart goes out tonight
Yes a red hot love on a red stop light
I see a scene so cold it echoes in blue
Oh those twisting tongues they are after you
Go for it, BC! ;)
either
3.33, I don't think I know that song. And I'm sure you'd make an excellent decision, no doubt. ;)
New Anon, I don't think I'd choose Motley Crue myself, but if you like it, that's all cool. Maybe Whitesnake or Bon Jovi, though. ?? I wasn't too much into the "hair bands".
J
That red stop light
With a whiplash smile
ahhhhhhhhhh
^_^
Well, I think I'm going to head to bed while it's still dark out.
Hazve a good night, everyone :)
^*Have :S
Lol thanks RW. I'll save that for the near future ^_^
Hi new anon. What about Warrant's Cherry Pie?
it's " don't need a gun" by B.Idol
Goodnight RW, sweet dreams.
A great stripping song is SLOW RIDE by Foghat! ^_~
Goodnight RW, sleep well!
Anon, OH YEAH! I didn't recognize it.
Apparently Billy Idol is the King of Stripping Music.
4th anon...no. Just, no.
J
Its almost three so I'm off to bed as well. Goodnight J, ergo, anons. Sweet dreams guys
Trust me OP J. I speak from experience ^_~
Goodnight BC, sweet dreams!
4th Anon, well, ok, that's great then. I never would've thought. Hey, I'm willing to learn!
J
J, I agree with you...you need some oomphh
That's why heavy drums are so essential, Anon. Like "House of Wolves," as I mentioned earlier. There's some ooomph for ya. ;)
J
...however, MCR & stripping just don't cut it for me ^_^
8 minutes and 15 seconds of oooommph. You know the rhythm is right. ^_~
Slow Ride
Foghat
Woo!
Slowride, take it easy
REPEAT THREE TIMES
I'm in the mood
The rhythm is right
Move to the music
We can roll all night
Oooh Slowride
Oooh
Slowride, take it easy
REPEAT
Slow down, go down, got to get your lovin' one more time
Hold me, roll me, slow ridin' woman you're so fine
Woo!
I'm in the mood
The rhythm is right
Move to the music
We can roll all night
Oooh
Slowride, take it easy
REPEAT
Slow down, go down, got to get your lovin' one more time
Slowride, easy, slowride, sleazy
REPEAT
Slow down, go down, got to get your lovin' one more time
Hold me, roll me, slow ridin' woman you're so fine
Slowride, take it easy
REPEAT
Slow down, go down, slow down, go down
Come on baby
Take a slowride on me
Come on baby
Take a slowride
Feels so good, Feels good, Come on baby
Feels good, Feel allright
You know the rhythm is right
We gotta rock all night
REPEAT TWO TIMES
Whoa, rock all night
Woo! Woo!
Your flamin' heart
REPEAT THREE TIMES
Woo! Woo! Woo!
Slowride
J, is the foghat song that bad? ^_^
Well, to each their own, I suppose, Anon. I would guess a person would kind of forget the words at that moment...
Hey, I just thought of one of the obvious ones: "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" by Rod Stewart. Not that I'd use that one, but, it's out there. Maybe some Rolling Stones?
J
Nah, BC, I just don't like Foghat. I heard them a lot in my youth, and never quite got into them. 4th Anon, I can respect your feelings; rest easy in the knowledge that I will never steal your favorite stripping song! :D
J
True J, just think it's hotter when a touch bit pumped, and aggressive :)
Rod Stewart, not really my thing.
*touch pumped*
needs to go to sleep
This is possibly the strangest conversation I've ever had on here.
Oh I see what you're saying, Anon; "HOW" is TOO aggressive. I get it now. You prefer something slower? More, um, "grindy"?
I know the perfect one: "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'" by Journey. An oldie but a goodie.
(touch bit pumped, yeah, well, I gotcha anyway!)
J
Or maybe I've missed your point all the way around. True, past 4am and the brain is the first to go.
J
Nite J and everybody else. It was fun.
Goodnight, Anon. Talk to you later, maybe; it WAS fun. Rest well.
I'm going to head off, too. Goodnight BlogBelieve and Family, enjoy your Thursday!
love and peace
J
Nite anonymous. Did you listen to that frenzied, climatic ending of Slowride OP J and BC? Exactly as it should be! ^_~
I do recommend a private performance for someone special. Pole is helpful but not required.
Mayo,
All I'm going to say is, only here.
What song would you choose to pole dance to? (Oh I know, the visual is frightening, but come on, play along.) I wondered if you'd put a pole in each room, but the Anon said not to give you ideas, so I won't ask.
Have a lovely day today (Thursday) and enjoy all that you can.
love to you
J
SS baby,
The conversations around here just get weirder and weirder, although tonight's was fun too. It's good to be silly, especially at this hour of the night!
*still wondering if you'll buy that pole*
Anyway, take care of yourself and let me know how you're doing, ok? Keep looking up, don't forget.
And remember, this weekend it's your turn to look after Baby Shitty while I practice my dancing. ;D
Love you, precious! Goodnight.
J
Morning Mayo & Mayoettes!
Wasn't Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar On Me specifically written for pole dancers? Or was it regular strippers, I forget?!
Anyhoo, I'll probably be MIA/sporadic for a while because we're a few people down at work, but to answer Kapunua's question I made Baby Mayo using this, and a pic of my friend's baby, then added the crayon, floor and expletive using Paint. I should probably warn you the site's sponsored by Burger King!
And now I'm being glared at so au revoir,
Kass xx
oh yes kass!
I would also add Supermassive Black Hole to pole dancing songs
My house is currently a disco with Kc and the sunshine band etc, all lights off and a headlight(torch on a headband0 you can set to flash as our own personal strobe!
lol
cool fun, except it's and my daughter, hubby "needed a shower" we'll get him after dinner!
gotta go dance!!
woooooooooooooooooo!
yo mayo!
how goes it?
good i hope!
have a good thursday doing whatever it is you do!
SS where are you?? i take it you haven't been around as nothing's changed. if you're bizzy i hope you are bizzy doing fun stuff!
have a good one SS!
hi family!
i am afraid i haven't caught up atall.....anything could have happened!
pole dancing?? never done it...i am sure i would be crap and far too self conscious! unless wasted and then far too embarrassing. so its a big NOPE for me on that one!
ok so have wonderful thursdays everyone!!
hi kass, ergo and anyone else around. and hi to anyone arriving soon!
*wanders out with image of ergo pole dancing to supermassive black hole in head*
very impressive ergo!!
Good *insert time of day here* Mayo, SS, Kass, Ergo, FASC, Miranth, PJ, Possum, watchers, lurkers, strippers (with or without a pole) and bar dancers of blogbelieve!
How are you all this morning/night? Singing a happy tune, I hope!
I do believe "Slowride" is one of the ULTIMATE stipping songs! Also good for dancing on bars - IF the mood to do so ever strikes any of you!
I also like "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails, "Cream" by Prince and of course Kass' suggestion of "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and J's suggestion of just about any Motley Crue song! ;)
For the ANONYMOUS who made the very sweet listing of what she/he loved about us:
THANK YOU
for loving my giddiness!
I'm sending you a big, giddy smile and hug. (A giddy hug would involve jumping up and down while hugging - in case anyone did not know).
Okay, that is it for this morning. No ponderings today.
Have a great day, everyone!
Hugs and Love,
~Namaste~

HI EVERYBODY!
YAY! The Red Wings WON!!!
Finally :)
I did not catch up, as I am just wandering in...
Mayo I realize that someone was accusing me of Lying *cue laugh track* yesterday and that is why they posted a comment I had deleted. It did not occur to me, at all, as I know I did not lie. Who was it who said a 'rose is a rose by any other name?' Anyway, people choose to believe what they choose to believe. Its none of my concern, and I don't know why I accepted the task...
I admit that I did lie to vultures, once, when someone was attacked, to protect the person. But I dare any anon to find it, because even if they did, they would refuse to acknowledge it as such. :)
Mayo, perhaps the onus should fall on you in this particular instance, as I find myself singularly unsuccessful!
Anyway, if I do choose not to return, know that it will be by choice and that I do not regret my actions here, as they have been honorable, as far as my knowledge extends.
Perhaps I have misinterpreted things, but as far as lying with deliberation, you may acquit me of such, as I hope others do.
Thank you.
Have a great day BBers!
♥

Barack and Hillary '08!
:)
PS - HI KASS, FASC and ERGO!
PS - Please refer to comments from approx. this time yesterday, to figure out what the hell I am talking about!!!!
YES, it has been a long week thus far and I think I need a couple of hours of sleep or so! :)
Good-day, again, everyone!
Good morning, Miranth! You're not leaving are you? :(
I have the vulture brooms handy!
*hands broom to Miranth*
Thanks Wendy!
I am not sure, as of yet, but I had one task to accomplish and I completed it to the best of my ability. So, if I stay, it will be by choice, rather than an distinct feeling that I did not complete something! And I was rather frantic when Mayo didn't post last time that I would not have the chance, as I thought he would wish me to do so. But he did say no one would 'shut him up!'
That feels much better, I must say, and I thank you for your concern!
But I really must close my eyes for a couple of hours ;) You know how it is!
I hope you are well? And take care!
:) *hugs*
PS - Thanks for the broom!
;)
You never know when it will come in handy!
I do know how it is, Miranth.
Goodnight and sweet dreams to you!
A hope you manage to get a 'decent' amount of sleep this morning.
mumbo jumbo as usual
Anon - 6:19 I could not agree with you more!
And very grateful I am too!
:)
