I'll pay you off in twenties.

My heart is a vacuum
and in it a prickly pear.
It is nothing that I swallowed,
it was you who put it there.
In absence of sunlight
it grows and bares flesh
while spines follow limbs
to a fine found filament
of sugar frosted fingers
for my grip almost spent.
It purges heat and a punch
then I swallow it back,
that prickly pear
perhaps, I did put it there.

p.s. it really wasn't as grand as I thought it would be.

The Curse Of Millhaven

I live in a town called Millhaven
And it's small and it's mean and it's cold
But if you come around just as the sun goes down
You can watch the whole town turn to gold
It's around about then that I used to go a-roaming
Singing La la la la La la la lie
All God's children they all gotta die

My name is Loretta but I prefer Lottie
I'm closing in on my fifteenth year
And if you think you have seen a pair of eyes more green
Then you sure didn't see them around here
My hair is yellow and I'm always a-combing
La la la la La la la lie
Mama often told me we all got to die

You must have heard about The Curse Of Millhaven
How last Christmas Bill Blake's little boy didn't come home
They found him next week in One Mile Creek
His head bashed in and his pockets full of stones
Well, just imagine all the wailing and moaning
La la la la La la la lie
Even little Billy Blake's boy, he had to die

Then Professor O'Rye from Millhaven High
Found nailed to his door his prize-winning terrier
Then next day the old fool brought little Biko to school
And we all had to watch as he buried her
His eulogy to Biko had all the tears a-flowing
La la la la La la la lie
Even God's little creatures, they have to die

Our little town fell into a state of shock
A lot of people were saying things that made little sense
Then the next thing you know the head of Handyman Joe
Was found in the fountain of the Mayor's residence
Foul play can really get a small town going
La la la la La la la lie
Even God's children all have to die

Then, in a cruel twist of fate, old Mrs Colgate
Was stabbed but the job was not complete
The last thing she said before the cops pronounced her dead
Was, "My killer is Loretta and she lives across the street!"
Twenty cops burst through my door without even phoning
La la la la La la la lie
The young ones, the old ones, they all gotta die

Yes, it is I, Lottie. The Curse Of Millhaven
I've struck horror in the heart of this town
Like my eyes ain't green and my hair ain't yellow
It's more like the other way around
I gotta pretty little mouth underneath all the foaming
La la la la La la la lie
Sooner or later we all gotta die

Since I was no bigger than a weavil they've been saying I was evil
That if "bad" was a boot that I'd fit it
That I'm a wicked young lady, but I've been trying hard lately
O fuck it! I'm a monster! I admit it!
It makes me so mad my blood really starts a-going
La la la la La la la lie
Mama always told me that we all gotta die

Yeah, I drowned the Blakey kid, stabbed Mrs. Colgate, I admit
Did the handyman with his circular saw in his garden shed
But I never crucified little Biko, that was two junior high school psychos
Stinky Bohoon and his friend with the pumpkin-sized head
I'll sing to the lot, now you got me going
La la la la La la la lie
All God's children have all gotta die

There were all the others, all our sisters and brothers
You assumed were accidents, best forgotten
Recall the children who broke through the ice on Lake Tahoo?
Everyone assumed the "Warning" signs had followed them to the bottom
Well, they're underneath the house where I do quite a bit of stowing
La la la la La la la lie
Even twenty little children, they had to die

And the fire of '91 that razed the Bella Vista slum
There was the biggest shit-fight this country's ever seen
Insurance companies ruined, land lords getting sued
All cause of wee girl with a can of gasoline
Those flames really roared when the wind started blowing
La la la la La la la lie
Rich man, poor man, all got to die

Well I confessed to all these crimes and they put me on trial
I was laughing when they took me away
Off to the asylum in an old black Mariah
It ain't home, but you know, it's fucking better than jail
It ain't such bad old place to have a home in
La la la la La la la lie
All God's children they all gotta die

Now I got shrinks that will not rest with their endless Rorschach tests
I keep telling them they're out to get me
They ask me if I feel remorse and I answer, "Why of course!
There is so much more I could have done if they'd let me!"
So it's Rorschach and Prozac and everything is groovy
Singing La la la la La la la lie
All God's children they all have to die
La la la la La la la lie
I'm happy as a lark and everything is fine
Singing La la la la La la la lie
Yeah, everything is groovy and everything is fine
Singing La la la la La la la lie
All God's children they gotta die

I wanted to share something I was reading today. It’s out of the book titled “Things You Should Know By Now”

Under the heading “Generosity Challenges Selfishness”

The Japanese master Nan-in once met with a university professor who came to inquire about Zen. Nan-in, always the gracious host, served tea to his visitor. He poured until the professor’s cup was full, but didn’t stop there. He kept pouring and pouring. The hot tea went everywhere, sloshing over the sides and onto the table. The professor watched in disbelief until he couldn’t help himself, “That’s enough!” he said. “The cup is full. No more will go in.” Nan-in smiled and said, “You are the same. Like the cup you are full of opinions and speculation. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?”

Generosity of time, money, and possessions is a way of emptying our cup, of making space. The more we pour out, the more life will be able to pour back in.

Good evening guys;

How are you? I just got back from watching my friends do their cheerleading routines and stuff. They have a comp on Sunday, which I can't make it do because of work, so I thought I'd at least show them somehow that I cared.

Driver's Ed class today was pretty good, to say the least. My beginners test is next Thursday, and I have to get at least 24/30 otherwise I can't get my beginners. Super stressed trying to comprehend the road signs!

anima said...

Goodnight Fim and Princess. Happy dreams.

Carrie said...

I was always quite partial to the Wondertwins, and oh, even farther back, the live action stuff. Like Bigfoot and Wildboy, and Electrawoman and Dynagirl. Electrawoman was whats her face who plays Marlena on Days of Our Lives now.

Carrie said...

Hey PH! Is it like Bring It On?

JocelynHolly said...

Hey Carrie!

Well, my schools squad isn't as intense, bitchy, drama-centered, and good as the team in Bring It On, but they are pretty decent! My friends did awesome, I'm super proud of them!

Who would've thought that all of PH's friends would be cheerleaders. 0.0

Anonymous said...

Infuriating things -

A guest who arrives when you have something urgent to do, and stays and talks for ages. If it's someone you don't have much respect for, you can simply send them away and tell them to come back later. But if it's a person with whom you feel you must stand on ceremony, it's an infuriating situation.

Anonymous said...

A hair has got on to your inkstone and you find yourself grinding it with the inkstick. Also, the grating sound when a bit of stone gets ground in with the ink.

Carrie said...

That's cool PH, yeah, not all cheerleaders are of the evil. :) I love watching those competitions, the athleticism astounds me.

Anonymous said...

It's also quite disgusting to witness men getting noisy and boisterous within their cups, groping round inside their mouth with a finger or wiping their whiskers if they have them, and forcing sake on others. "Go on, have another!" they'll cry, and they wiggle and squirm and wag their heads.... I've seen even truly great men behave in this way, and I must say I find it most offputting.

JocelynHolly said...

I agree Carrie!

Most people don't get how much hard work is put into it! After about five minutes of my friends being out there and giving it there all, they came up to me, all sweaty, and out of breath and red in the face! I'm actually so proud of them!!

Anonymous said...

I also really hate it the way some people go on about envying others, bemoaning their own lot in life, demanding to be let in on every trivial little thing, being venomous about someone who won't tell them what they want to know, and passing on their own dramatized version of some snippet of a rumor they've heard, while making out like they knew it all along.

Anonymous said...

A chorus of dogs howling on and on is quite hair-raisingly horrible.

Anonymous said...

Hi PH! Thank you for your visit. ^_^

Anonymous said...

And I hate people who don't close a door that they've opened to go in or out!

Carrie said...

PH, I didn't get my license until I was 21. The driver's training used to actually be during school time, and it was the same time as AP History so I opted out. I can't believe how much the stuff costs nowadays. My daughter Al has been through the first session of the lessons, and it was over 200 bucks! I had some serious sticker shock from that, being as it used to be free!

anima said...

I love watching those competitions, the athleticism astounds me.

I have to agree, Carrie.

Rush Limbaugh calls for riots to ensure that a Democrat is not elected president.

"Riots in Denver, the Democrat Convention would see to it that we don't elect Democrats," Limbaugh said during Wednesday's radio broadcast. He then went on to say that's the best thing that could happen to the country....
Several callers called in to the radio show to denounce Limbaugh's comments, when he later stated, "I am not inspiring or inciting riots, I am dreaming of riots in Denver."

Limbaugh said with massive riots in Denver, which he called "Operation Chaos," the people on the far left would look bad.

"There won't be riots at our convention," Limbaugh said of the Republican National Convention. "We don't riot. We don't burn our cars. We don't burn down our houses. We don't kill our children. We don't do half the things the American left does."

That's right, people. The American left burn our cars and kill our children. You read it here.

Mayo,

How are you tonight? I know how easy it is to throw up the I'm fucking fine. Everything is swell. Life is peaches and cream. My typical responses. It's not like you're lying when you tell someone that either. Sometimes, you really don't know how you are. Sometimes there is something off or missing and you can't quite put your finger on it. I had someone ask me tonight what the fuck was wrong with me and all I could come up with was nothing. Nothing.

Mayo, when I ask you how you are, I hope you know, I hope you can feel the sincerity in my words. Because feeling...feeling is what it's all about. Are you in a room that is too cold and too quiet? Are you in a smokey diner with too many people and sucky food? Are you pissed off because there is nothing on television? Have you picked up your phone a dozen times to see that no one has called you? Checked your email only to find no new messages? Are you singing along to your favorite song while staring at a black night sky? Are you somewhere faking a smile? Does your heart ache for someone?
Did you walk by a mirror today and find yourself startled by the stranger staring back at you? Are you somewhere wondering how the fuck you got there? And if you'll ever get back to where you came from? Do you even want to? Are you struggling to find the right words? Backspace and delete.

Oh that last one, that was me. The words just won't come tonight.

Mayo, wherever you are, I hope you do feel all of us here. I hope that you never feel like you are all by yourself. It's a lonely place to be. I should know. I find myself in that place a lot. We should really meet up for coffee.

Love to YOU Always,
S

p.s. Did any of that make sense?

anima said...

PH, it will become second nature by the time you get your license. You might have to think about which way you turn your wheels while parking on a hill, but most everything you'll remember. Just promise me that you will know when you are required to stop for a school bus and when you are not; and the rules while driving on interstates.... I swear, some people are so clueless and it frustrates me. ^_^

Kapunua, I despise Limbaugh in general. That is so fucked up.

We got lost again
Drove to the end of a road
And a red aced man
Taught us to do what we're told
And on the 23rd night
Things ain't bad but things ain't right

Are we falling or flying
Are we falling or flying
Are we living or dying
I guess we'll never know

The air's so heavy
It could drown a butterfly
If it flew too high
And i get the feeling
That the truck driver ain't shy
Cause he's looking at me but nowhere near my eyes
And on the 35th morning
Things ain't good but things ain't boring

Are we falling or flying
Are we falling or flying
Are we living or dying
I guess we'll never know

Sometimes it's hard tot ell
If there's a life behind a song
But i know tomorrow
Today won't feel so long
Cause on the 42nd night
The room was dark but the stage was bright

Are we falling or flying
Are we falling or flying
Are we living or dying
Cause my friend this too shall pass
So play every show like it's your last

Hey Mayo. Isn't it funny how us east-coasters are always saying goodnight at the same time on weekdays? Well ain't work about a bitch. ^_^ Why can't we just all hang out, go to mysterious concerts close to home, read clever blogs, solve sly riddles, send poetry and songs, and, I don't know, sit on burnished thrones with, like, people fanning us with palms and feeding us grapes?

...Nahhhh!

You so crazy, Mayo. It's kinda cool.

Anyway, I hope you have had a relaxing day. Or if not relaxing, then interesting at least. Sweet dreams! Like of, say, being a pirate. Yeah! Being a pirate on a ship! Or maybe you're more the ninja type. Well then dream of being a Ninja if that pleases you more.

S(S)S, you made my day, like you often do. You made the day of a lot of people. Does that ever get tiring, all that day-making? Well S(S)S, I hope and trust that someone out there is making your day, too. Like, all the damn time. And also thank you for getting it, and for getting me, because I know that ain't easy. ;D Long days and pleasant nights. ^_^

Nice anons, thank you again.

BlogBelieve, good night to you! I hope you will all have a nice Friday. Guess what? Asscrack is on vacation! So even though we are booked solid and have been since last Friday, I get to work with my two good friends, so there will be laughter tomorrow no matter what. But I still won't lose my momentum. I won't.

Oh, and in less than two weeks I am going to be one thrilled little blogger! ^____^

Oh, I'm sure that I can get taken to dinner if I ask, I'm just kinda low maintenance. If somebody lets me sleep in and helps with the laundry, I'm golden. Although come to think of it, I think Terry might have some har de hars related to me saying I'm low maintenance.

toujours said...

hi bc, hi j. :)

kentucky's greeeeeaaaat. actually, it hasn't really been that bad. i'm a pagan after all.

so, i don't know if this is true at all, but what i heard was that worm is at home, taking care of wife and new baby?

that would be endearing if fact and not rumor, don't you think?

Original Punk J said...

Oh, that's cool, E! What a sweet friend. But, no cake...hmmm...well, we sent Elena a Big Texas cinnamon roll through the mail. We put it in a padded envelope and it got there with no squishage. Maybe you could send her a honey bun or something! :D That'd be cool too.

Wow, wonder where Worm is?

BC, Phil would be a good bodyguard, I agree. He's pretty muscle-y, too, so he'd be able to handle any kind of hooligan that came your way. Plus, he could provide, uh, "fringe benefits". heeheehee

tom cruise needs to get his act together

Original Punk J said...

*imagines Big Worm holding a tiny baby*

*smiles fondly*

*happy not to have given birth to ANYONE'S baby*

So, Daddy Worm? Wow.

Carrie, I can dig it. I'm low maintenance myself, but do appreciate a nice Mexican dinner. :)

Actually, the one thing L and I do for each other's birthdays is take each other out to eat at a fairly nice place. The Chop House, Red Lobster, that kind of thing.

J

Entropy said...

Hi, J, BC, TJ, Carrie!

TJ, that would be the cutest thing ever. I really hope that is the case.

Original Punk J said...

I think Tom Cruise might be on a downhill slide, Anon. The man's not right.

J

toujours said...

yeah, when i came across that rumor for his absence, it definitely got my vote. :)

Original Punk J said...

I hope Wendy'll come on when she gets home and tells us about the concert. I'm really looking forward to seeing the guys.

J

Anonymous said...

who did Wendy see play?

Original Punk J said...

My Chem, at the HOB in NOLA. I'll bet that was a great venue for them.

J

Anonymous said...

thanks J

Original Punk J said...

Sure, Anon.

BC's been to a show, Entropy's been to--what, three? four?--TJ's been to a bazillion, and L and I are going to three.

Have you seen any?

J

Anonymous said...

No, I'm not a fan

Carrie said...

I'll answer even though I'm not the anon. I totally woussed out of going to the MI shows, even though I had the hubby blessing. It was the GA thing, man, I just figured it was gonna be a melee, and well, I'm prone to panic attacks and shit, and yeah, now I'm regretting it. Evidently, if you don't want to get in the pit it's not so bad. Oh well, maybe a couple years or so from now...

toujours said...

i'm back -- not that anyone knew i was gone -- but i accidentally logged off aol (why do retired people all have aol???) and so i had to relog on.

got some strawberries while dial-up did it's thing.

my folks have fruit and veg, and it's all so good i've been feasting all day i swear.

strawberries (small ones so they taste like strawberries for once), and apples, and celery, and leaf lettuce, and bread-and-butter pickles...

why is the food at mom's house always so very very good?

Entropy said...

I went to five awesome ones.

And, yeah, Carrie, it might be better, too. With the less fans that would not wait 2 years for them asses.

Original Punk J said...

Really, Anon? That's unfortunate, but it's alright. I love their music, the five of them together make some special things happen.

Carrie, you should've talked to Elena and TJ about the pit experience. I know Elena's was, uh, different. :)

We'll be in the pit for two shows, but the first one is an outdoor festival, so it won't be quite as crowded. Unfortunately, neither L nor I do too well standing for long periods of time, so we're not looking forward to that, but ah well, sacrifices...

J

Carrie said...

tj, cuz it's FREE!

Anonymous said...

Anon, concerning Tom, I agree.

J, he's my hero *swoons* ha ha
Anon, I seen the band six times and met them already, but who knows if I'll see them again in the future.

toujours said...

and snack-size carrots.

so sweet, so crunchy!

why am i bingeing on fresh veg at midnight?

Anonymous said...

BC, six times? wow, you must really enjoy their music.

toujours said...

that's probably part of it, carrie. :)

j., i wanted to email you and l. about memphis, but my folks' computer hasn't be able to load gmail.

i really want to go...if i can get a ticket, do you mind a tagalong?

Entropy said...

That all sounds good, Teej.
I have some strawberries, but I ran out of whipped cream last night 'cause of my damn cat and her roof shenanigans.
Strawberries are always better with whipped cream.

Original Punk J said...

We saw four PR shows last summer, 2 shows back-to-back each time. GA, NC, then IN and IL.

I tell you what, if we lived through 115 fucking degrees heat index in Charlotte, we can live through anything. That was the hottest I've ever been in my entire life, I swear. I had sweat dripping off my elbows.

And ol' swift me, when I met Frank that day at the signing, answered his "How are you?" with "Hotter than Hell, how you doing?"

First impressions are so important. ;)

True to form, though, he said he was sorry, but thanked me for coming out to see them. What a lovely man he is.

J

Anonymous said...

Don't feel guilty TJ. I'm eating carrots this late at night as well. Crunch crunch.

Anon, yeah, I was. Not anymore though.

toujours said...

entropy, all this stuff is just straight from the fridge. cold and good.

...and i have a beagle staring at me.

Original Punk J said...

TJ, L and I are actually going down early to meet some friends there. We're staying with them the 3 days we're there, so I don't think we'll be able to provide a ride. :( Sorry.

J

toujours said...

*crunch crunch* bc! :)

Anonymous said...

the look on his face must have been priceless J

toujours said...

j., my folks already offered to get me there to memphis -- but maybe, i could hitch a ride up to st. louis? i'll pay extra gas... *beagle eyes*

Anonymous said...

BC, have you just moved on from their style of music to something else?

Original Punk J said...

Well, actually, he gave me a sort of puzzled, searching look like, "Don't I know you from somewhere?" The response itself didn't seem to faze him at all! Thank Heaven for that, cause I didn't even think about what I was saying. It just...came out.

TBH, I was, uh, captivated? by his eyes.

J

Carrie said...

Aw, beagles are cute. I have a fat pissed off cat staring at me. Trade ya!

Original Punk J said...

TJ, I'll have to ask L about the ride since she's driving, and I don't know when we're leaving exactly the next day, but we'll definitely let you know, ok? :)

J

toujours said...

carrie, i would have pissed off parents staring at me if i traded you.

i think i'll play it safe...

toujours said...

fair enough, j. :)

Original Punk J said...

What kind of cat do you have, Carrie? My guys are a Bombay and a Manx. I don't know if you've checked out our Photobucket, but the black cat, Dumplin, is the Bombay, and the grey, Raindrop, is the Manx. (He has a little nubby-tail!)

BTW, we're in the process of putting up new pics of ourselves on the ol' PB. Mine are already up, and I think L's putting hers up tomorrow. If anybody cares.

J

Anonymous said...

Anon, not really, but with so much of the BS that the lead singer was pulling, it pretty much killed my enthusiasm for the band.

And well, to be honest, I haven't been listening to their music for a long time now.

Original Punk J said...

BC, can I get you a hanky, or perhaps a towel? ;D

Or maybe...a donut?

J

Entropy said...

Oh, Lost, you tricky ho.

Anonymous said...

J, I think donuts and I are too much of a dangerous combination when put together ;D

Carrie said...

Gizmo (didn't name her, and she came with the house) is some sort of calicoish thing.

toujours said...

i'll have to look at them on a different computer, j. -- dial-up here atm.

is elena lurking? i was hoping my scintillating presence would lure her out...

Anonymous said...

I will wish you all a goodnight, and enjoy any future concerts that you may attend

toujours said...

oh, how nice of you anon. :)

hope you enjoy whatever bands you might happen to see, as well.

Original Punk J said...

"Calicoish thing." I can see her glaring at you now, Carrie! She's thinking, "Just wait, human. When you fall asleep, I'll come sit on your face and smother you..."

No worries, TJ, you're not really missing out on anything spectacular, just me! :)

BC, donuts are never TOO dangerous. It's what you do with them that makes them so. :D

J

Thanks anon. Take care and goodnight to you.

Mayo

The same words were spoken tonight. A fucking melodrama that plays out over and over again. Why then, if the words are heard so often, can they still cause pain? Shouldn’t I become immune at some point? I know the words; they’re etched in my heart. They are always the same, never changing. I wanted to find the part of me I’d lost so long ago. I believed that in doing so, in becoming happy with myself, every aspect of my life would improve. Wrong. I was so wrong. I shouldn’t be surprised really. It’s rare I get anything right. I know this, I’ve been told this countless times. It’s just a part of me wanted to believe things would be better. I wanted to believe that my newfound belief in myself would be understood, that it would be welcomed. Wrong again. Tonight as the tired words faded away and the door slammed another voice cried out. It spoke from deep inside me. “I don’t want to live this life anymore.” Maybe these words have been there and I’ve ignored them. Maybe they’ve been whispered and I ignored. But tonight I heard them, they were loud, they were clear. “I don’t want to live this life anymore.”

I hear, but I don’t respond. I am a coward.

Night Mayo

Elena

Night, anon!

Original Punk J said...

Goodnight Anon, it was good to have a pleasant anonymous person for a change! Take care, have a restful night.

And thanks for the well wishes. Wishes are nice. :)

J

Anonymous said...

Oh no J. The other day I ate some, and I ended up looking at pictures of this dude and I spent time peeking at his package. I couldn't help it.

Donuts ARE bad! At least to me. They make me...do things that I normally don't do

Carrie said...

Oh, you're so right about the glaring, and she sleeps on my bed every night, the cats totally hang with me. And Elena, sorry you're having another bad night.

Original Punk J said...

Elena, I can guess you're probably not coming on tonight, but if you're reading, then remember you have so many friends out here who love you, treasure you, and want so much for you to be happy.

If you want to call me tonight, please do. If not, we will talk to you tomorrow, ok? Take care, honey, we love you so much. You're a great lady, nothing can change THAT.

love you bunches--

J

Anonymous said...

Elena, you're not a coward. You are a great woman, and a great friend.

toujours said...

elena, second email coming your way, pronto.

don't go all mayo on me, not you too.

Original Punk J said...

Carrie, I don't usually get the glare, I mostly get the "I am far superior to you, Mother, but I love you anyway" look from Dumplin, and the "Wha?" look from Raindrop.

Think "Pinky and the Brain." Guess which one is which. ;)

BC, are you licensed to carry those donuts? ;)

J

Carrie said...

I must admit, I have never watched Pinky and the Brain.

Anonymous said...

I don't think so, J. Someone just gave one to me, and from then on, disaster began I guess lol

Original Punk J said...

*clutches heart*

*gasps loudly*

NEVER WATCHED PINKY AND THE BRAIN?

Oh man, you would love it! They're lab mice; Pinky is juuuust a little off--he says "Narf!" a lot--and the Brain is, well, the brain. He's always thinking of ways to try and take over the world. But, with Pinky as an accomplice, well, it ain't happenin'.

They were on "Animaniacs", back when it was on.

Another one I loved was "Freakazoid." Weird kid who got sucked into the Internet and became a sort-of superhero. He just wasn't right, either.

J

Original Punk J said...

Oho, I like this fake-innocent "someone gave one to me" line of yours, BC! Uh-hunh, yeah. Right.

:P

I. DON'T. BELIEVE. YOU.

J

toujours said...

mayo, i'm not feeling so good.

today was actually okay -- even after all my whining earlier (really very sorry about that). i think my folks just want me to see their life, you know? i've never been here, i don't know how they are here, i don't know them. they just want to be seen, to be known.

i get that. i can do that.

but now i'm fearful again, for laverne this time. which is just dandy, added to what i'm already carrying for you. you guys are going to kill me.

and i have to go to sleep, i'm barely awake right now...

and all of a sudden i don't know anything, and my imagination is chortling at the win.

****

i just fell asleep in the desk chair, had a micro-dream about "thank you for the venom"...

mayo this comment sucks big time, and here i was all pleased to finally sit down and really talk to you before going offblog for the night.

maybe tomorrow.

maybe when i have wits instead of worry.

be safe, please, mayo-sama.

Dang, the last cartoon I used to watch was Recess. And I still miss Pepperann. I will have to branch out and get those on my Netflix queue. They are on dvd, right? Seems like everything is these days.

J, I swear I am telling you the truth!! How else do can you explain my frisky behavior for the past few weeks? ^_^

Carrie said...

Ok, I am big with the bleary eyes, and have to get up in the morning to truck Liey McLierson to school. Goodnight, you guys have fun.

Anonymous said...

I hope you're okay TJ. Take care of yourself and goodnight. You too Carrie. Sweet dreams guys.

Original Punk J said...

TJ, I hope you can get some sleep tonight. *hugs and kisses* Try to enjoy being with your folks, they miss you and just want to spend some time with their daughter. Tell them some of their TN neighbors said Hello!

Carrie, I'd imagine they are on DVD. Like you said, everything is nowadays. As for current cartoons, one of the best ones on Cartoon Network right now is called "Chowder". It's about a baker's apprentice. It is one of the funniest, smartest shows anywhere, cartoon or not. It makes me howl with laughter.

The guy who used to play Murdock on "The A-Team" does the voice of the baker, Mung. And the guy who did Bender's voice on "Futurama" does the voice of the baker's assistant. It's just great.

J

Original Punk J said...

Night Carrie, rest them weary eyes! Talk to you later.

Well, BC, it's just you and me, looks like. Where's "Tom" when you need him?

J

Anonymous said...

I guess so J.

Original Punk J said...

Did you ever hear from that art college you applied to?

J

Not yet J. In a couple of more weeks. I had to also send out a college transcript from the previous school I attended, but I should be getting a decision within two weeks.

I'll let you know.

Anyone still here? Hi Op-J and BC, if you are. I fell asleep after Lost. The excitement was too great for me, I guess :) That show surpasses itself on occasion...

Cool, BC, good luck!

Hi Miranth, join our thrilling little world! How are you, other than groggy? ;)

Kids, I think I'm going to head for bed. The more tired I become, the more I start to think, and sometimes I just don't want to do that.

Goodnight BC, hope you have a good night's rest.

Goodnight Miranth, nice to see you if even briefly.

Goodnight Wendy, hope you had a great time tonight, and I want a full report tomorrow!

Goodnight J, sweet dreams.

First again I see. It gets exhausting being on top six or seven times already.

Too much work.

miranth said...

Goodnight J! Sorry to have missed you. :)

BC *hugs* I miss Wendy too!!! I went to Ozzfest and managed to sneak down to fifth row *devilish laughter* :D It was much fun! Ozzy kept squirting us with a foam gun and water was dumped from above down by the stage at our outdoor theater here. We were pretty cold by the end of it! The earlier bands were very high energy and I really enjoyed them. Did you go?
