Reflection.
I battle with my image. It is difficult to see myself in the context of life. To see myself as others do, with a watchful eye. I am often too busy living to be constantly aware...aware of my actions and my thoughts as they occur, to be always on. That is a poor excuse, and so I will continue learning.
There amongst the rubble, the rubbish, the reality, and the reverie…is a life lived. I have opened it up for my inspection, my dissection. My life spilled open before me, I am able to pick it apart. What is worth keeping and what shall be cast aside? Some of it will be misplaced or forgotten without intent. Some will be thrown full force out the fucking window.
The entirety of it, my life, has been examined, admired, and accepted as a lesson in time…without regret. But still I ask myself, how can I be a better person?
Considering the past, I must live forward.
I will continue to challenge myself to sustain thoughtfulness. I will attempt to close each day with a question…was I good?
I will allow the answer to that question to lead me forward. Daily, I will take the hand of my mistakes and my misgivings and allow them to guide me to craft a life. My triumphs and successes enhanced by greater insight. I do not want to come to the close of another year bombarded with resolution.
I will also try to keep fear at bay. I will pause, even if it is just for a moment, to reflect. I intend to live, and live well. Each day I will do my best to be good.
My lovelies, I wish each of you the best of life in the new year. I hope that you are all happy and healthy, and that you find joy in each day. I hope you live, and live well.

You can be honest with yourself and with the people around you.
You can stop trying so hard to manage your image and just be you. You might surprise yourself in a good way if you allow it.
Finally, you can continue what you're already doing. Reflection. Think about yourself, your behavior, your life, how you effect the people in your life, how they effect you.
But you already know all this, right?

How to be a better person? Listen to those who surround you. Listen to their concerns, their worries, without shutting yourself off from them. you have to take the bad with the good, regardless if you do not want to hear their advice. It may be more beneficial than you may think.

I hope you can reflect on 2007 with fondness, though everyone has times they feel they may have done differently I hope in the grand scheme of things the good outweighs the bad. And if bychance you feel the balance tips the other way, that 2008 brings you the opportunity to resolve any past errors or hurts, for you and for anyone you feel wronged by.
Reflection and introspection serve a purpose and that is to move forward as a better person, learning from both mistakes and triumphs.
I hope you can answer yourself each night with a resounding "yes" and if you can't that as the next day dawns it brings to you the insight to succeed anew.
Thank you for your wishes for me, as I take it personally, even though it is addressed to all. I shall strive to make 2008 a better year than 2007. Some things I regret and have worked hard to change and feel confident my feet are on a track leading to a happy and enjoyable year.
Some things I am so thankful to have experienced, and Mayo you and all the other "lovelies" are one of them , so thank you.

I'm pretty effin' proud of you, you know? To be such an ass, you have a heart of gold. I'm proud of you because I feel that you may have discovered a part of you that was dormant for awhile. And I always think it's awesome for someone to reach that next level of acceptance.
You're gonna be okay this next year. I feel it. You're going to keep posting until you finally get tired of us. Or until you finally see that we can no longer help you. That day will be bitter sweet because I'll be losing "Mayonaise," but you'll also have the ability to do and live on your own. Reflection is tough. Most of the time I think we are own worst critics, but we can also be our biggest fans. YAY, ME! That's why it is so important to surround yourself with a great support system...family, friends...BlogBelieve...people you trust. I am extremely hard on myself, but I am also hard headed and stubborn. I have to be proven wrong. And even then, I'll still argue about it. But I, like you, will also continue learning. Dude, if you stop learning, you might as well pack it up and go the fuck home. There is always someone to learn from and something to be learned...alfuckingways. You might not like the lesson, but sooner or later, it will apply. And you'll be all like, ooooooooh okay, now I understand. And you'll feel stupid for not learning it earlier in life.
There amongst the rubble, the rubbish, the reality, and the reverie…is a life lived. You said it....all roads got you to right fucking here. Picking your life apart...be careful. Some things...you might not realize are worth keeping until way later. Be careful throwing shit out the window....don't let it bounce back up and hit you in the head or take out some innocent bystanders below.
Mayo, we can all be better and do better. Always. It's hard as hell to keep that in mind and even harder to apply to your every day living, but we can do it.
So let's keep moving, keep learning, keep trying, and keep challenging ourselves in all aspects of our life.

So you can be like, "What will 2008 be like for me?" and then if, like, "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" comes on, you know you're pretty much hosed.

I like being called a Lovely. Except that any time I think about it, I see a bowling team of older ladies, with silver hair and pink satin jackets.
My resolution this year is to be Debt Free by December 31st, 2008. I have a credit card bill to pay, a Home Depot Bill and I owe my mother some money, and I wanna be debt free (obviously except for the house), by the end of the year.
And then I wanna stay that way.
Also, my other resolution is to get a better paying job. I wanna make a better life for myself, and also to have sort of a safety net in case.
And, of course, to keep having as much fun as completely possible.
