I like that interview, I am glad he's happy and seeing as I have no reason to disbelieve it, apart from an anon, I would be happy to believe he is dong whatever he's decided his life needs to be at the moment.

As for their performance, I was looking forward to TBP but I was not at all disappointed with what I got.It was professional, sounded great, staged well and Gerard was a very accomplished performer and the other guys were excellent too. Maybe because I hadn't seen them live "before" except for clips I had no real expectations, just a desire to see them play songs I love live and rocking.
It wasn't as interactive as they had been with each other in the past but certainly not any of the "avoiding each other" as has been reported before.
Having seen Muse the week before who were extraordinary and their show was slick well put together and professional, MCR were definately of the same callibre and I would go and see either play again in a heartbeat.
if they want to "grow up" as a band they are doing a great job as far as I'm concerned.

Hell, I know I am. I wish I could be steadfast and consistent in my statements. I really admire that in other people. But it also prevents some from growing and changing for the better. I just try to keep it to myself if I am unsure. But sometimes it just comes out and sometimes it comes out wrong or not what I really feel on a daily basis.
The problem with Gerard is that he is passionate with his convictions. It makes it difficult to believe him when his mind has changed or when it's not the priority anymore. But I do not think he is a blatent liar. I really believe he is a good person.
All I have to say is that I am thankful I do not have to answer people's questions every day. I would be sound like such a flip/flopper.

I walked up and told the "white" lady that she was in Canada now, where EVERYONE is equal regardless of what they wear. She stormed off, then came back to the till later and told the cashier that it's probably because of the area of the city we live in that we get "those kinds of people".

I just re-read my rant, and I feel the need to clarify a little.
I'd like to go on the record as someone who actually used to like Gerard Way, and still does to a lesser degree.
The man has a whole lotta talent, and a fan-fucking-tastic voice. Even on his off-days, he still sounds pretty damn good, IMHO. I'd also like to believe that somewhere under that arrogant rock-star persona is a good-hearted man who still cares about his fellow human beings. Unfortunately, however, that guy seems to have gone into hiding, maybe permanently.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that as much as I want to bury my boot up his ass (and rattle his skull until all the dumb fell out), I still hope that he can find some peace and be happy for a change.

We (OPs) do not follow anyone anywhere. If someone is here, and we choose to speak to them, we do. We are sure that every one of us has said something at some time that others do not agree with, but we need to respect everyone's opinion.

You should never be afraid to say something that you feel that strongly about. The people here are mature enough to know that opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one. Yours may not be the same as mine but that doesn't mean I'm right and you're wrong. I agree with alot of Kapunua says and there are some things that I don't agree with her about. But that's okay. We agree to disagree. Like grown-ups. That's the way it should be.
I don't think anyone 'follows' her. We go to DM when we can no longer post a comment here. Everyone is welcome there, end of story.

Well Life On Mars, where to start. In the first episode of series two......... only joking, I won't spoil it.
It is all wrapped up and there is no series three BUT, there is a spin off series with most of the same characters set in the 80's called Ashes to Ashes. It hasn't aired here yet. I shall let you know if it is good but I bet it will be.
Kapunua and I disagree 99.9 percent of the time, but we respect each other's opinions.
Sometimes I want to strangle her and she probably wants to stab me in my faithful heart.
